The Gift of Truth

It is the morning after. Everyone is gathered in the throne room. All dragged from their beds to hear the king's announcement.

"Francis, are you sure about this?" Mary asked her husband before entering the throne room. "We have all the evidence that your spy procured. Everything will be fine. Don't worry." He gave Mary a kiss on her forehead and then they were announced.

"My dear subjects. I apologize for a very early intrusion but I must say that this will be a very important and quick announcement. Well, verdict." Everyone was wondering and whispering as to what the king meant. "Bash, bring in the criminal!" Louis is being dragged tp the center of the throne room. "Isn't criminal too harsh cousin." Louis said. "I was just drunk last night that I thought your wife is my lover. Nothing happened." Francis was now at verge of punching him when Mary held his hand then he calmed down. "Oh that was a different offense that would cause you your hand." A sudden scare was felt bu Louis. 'What does he know?' He thought. "This was found in your belongings" Francis said then let his privy council look at the journal found by Felicia. "You have no right to search my things. Those were personal.." Louis was cut by Francis. "And you have no right to poison my father! Yes. He was not the perfect father we wanted him to be. But he was a great king! And you. Poisoning him? How dare you. Using a whore to poison my father. Your own wife! Screw you!" Louis was shocked. Then Bash stepped forward and showed the other evidence to the council and to the Lords present. "Louis de Bourbon, Prince of Conde I hereby sentence you to death. By poison. A poison of my choosing. Because giving you a quick death is not fair to what my father experienced." Henry silently cried on the side while Kenna is comforting him. Henry is now weak and  dying. His son from Kenna, John is with him and also crying because even at a young age he knows what is happening to his Papa. Louis on the other hand is about to feel his punishment. A group of physicians lead by Nostradamus forcefully placed five spoonful of the poison to Louis' mouth. Loyis felt burning all over his bod that he screamed. Then he was having hallucinations. "Bring hinlm to the middle of town. I want everyone to witness his death." So he was brought by the guards. "So my dear subjects. This is our gift to you.

3 hours of torture was felt by Louis until he felt the sudden releif before he died with his eyes open.

Meanwhile in the North Wing. "Thank you Francis." Mary said. "I will do anything for my family especially for you. Now I need to write a letter to King Antoine. He needs to know what his brother did. I don't want a war." "I already wrote to him last week. He knows of our plan he wasn't happy about his brother. And as I told you. He needs my support so he could transact with Catholic countries and with Vatican." Francis kissed Mary and smiled. "C'mon let's spend the day with our children. Surely they're excited to have breakfast." Francis said. "I know. Anne already talked to our pager five times." Mary amd Francis laughed at the eagerness of their little daughter then went straight to the dining hall.
