Chapter 22 Nichole

For the remainder of the week we tried to spend all of our time together. I moved all of my things into Jo’s house because they didn’t want me to have to go back there alone. She gave me my own room even though she knew I’d be staying in Louis’ until he left. Today’s his last day home for a while and it makes me sad, but he wants to take me to meet the rest of the boys. I danced my way into my skinny jeans that were way too tight. I’ve gained a lot of weight. I slipped my hoodie over my head and threw my hair up. Louis was waiting in the car and I grabbed my purse before joining him. I didn’t feel like I had to impress anyone. I simply had to show up and meet normal teenage boys. We sang to the radio the whole entire two hour drive. We were avoiding the real subject. At some point I must’ve feel asleep because I woke up to Lou shaking my arm. “We’re here.” He tried to sound excited, but failed. You could tell he was nervous about the future us. I rubbed my eyes and stretched before getting out of the car. He intertwined our fingers and pulled me close. The set was huge. It was enclosed in a black fence that was taller than Goliath. Louis showed his badge to the security guards at the gate and we were let in. The inside was even more confusing than the outside. All the hallways led to different sections of the arena and they all looked the same. I followed Louis until we came to the room that had their star on it. ‘One Direction’. I can’t believe I talked him into being famous. Now I have to share him with the world. I could barely handle Hannah looking at him for goodness sake! “Are you ready?” Louis kissed my forehead and I nodded. “I love you Nic.” I smiled up at him and he opened the door. Immediately he covered my eyes. “Harold! Get your pants on!” I heard frantic shuffling and a few muffled laughs.

“Sorry I didn’t know!” His voice was deep and raspy, but I liked Louis soft but firm tone better. Once he was clothed Louis took his hand off my face.

“This is Harry.” He led me to the boy with a mop of curls on his head. His green eyes were clear and his dimples topped off his whole innocent child look, but the way he bit his lip told you differently.

“It’s nice to meet you love.” He kissed my hand and I rolled my eyes playfully at the gesture. Next Louis led me to another brunette with curls. Not quite as prominent as Harry’s, but there were a few curls in his hair.

“This is Liam.” The boy nodded and waved shyly. His soft brown eyes went well with his light hair. His plaid shirt’s sleeves were rolled up to his elbow and he sat at the table by himself. Without wasting time Louis showed me the next boy.

“This is Zayn.” Zayn’s hair stood in a perfectly styled quiff. He was wearing a varsity jacket and white high tops. He had a whole ‘bad boy’ look going on.

“Nice to meet you.” He shook my hand and continued looking at his phone. Lastly Louis pointed me towards a boy sitting at a table in the far corner.

“And this is Niall.” The blonde turned around and his cheeks were stuffed. “What have you got this time mate?” Niall shrugged.

“Don’t know. Found it on the table and just started eating it. Taste healthy though.” He stuck his hand out and we shook hands. Louis shook his head.

“Gents, this is Nichole. My girlfriend, but you can call her Nic.” They all nodded and I felt awkward not having anything to do anymore. Louis walked around the room talking to the boys, so I sat on the opposite end of the couch away from everyone. From now on this is who he was going to be spending his time with. Not me. Them. He was going to be far away from me and I was just going to have to deal with phone calls and texts. I couldn’t take it and I started tearing up. I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked up to see Zayn’s concerned face.
