The light comes so unexpectedly

When the light comes
You do its will
Never give it a second
thought
The light is painful
It peirces the eyes
Rips open the soul
Tears apart the makeshift seams on the heart
But it is always right
The light will enter you
The light, well, enlightens you
Do what it tells you to, and I promise
Everything will become clear
No matter if its ending a friendship you knew was toxic but never wanted to leave
Or leaving your partner because you know you're not good for them
Or even calling a close friend out on actions that have hurt you
The light comes
Whether you like it or not
And it's always wise
To listen
Even when the light
Seems dark
