chapter 13

Jaydens POV

"isn't this cute Jay?" I don't want to be here.. "Jay?" what made me agree to this? "JAYYDEEENN!" my head snaps up Marry's standing there with her arms crossed "What?" she sighs " isn't this dress cute jay?" she says sounding a little annoyed "uh yeah" "better than the last?" "yup" she yells in frustration "this is the exact same dress jayden!!!"  I honestly couldn't care less bringing me back to my point why did I agree to this? She stomps like a little kid throwing a tantrum and walks back into the fitting room for what felt like the millionth time. Finally she picks out a dress meaning we get to leave I take her home and head to the boulevard, I've been here everyday for the past couple weeks thinking she would show up to dance but she hasn't been around,, its like the earth swallowed here no way she disappeared like that... "yo jay man waddup!"  I turn my head and see derek "whats up man long time no see" we do the typical man hug thing "yeah man your mom told me you'd be out here" my mom? "how would she know" he shrugs " beats me, what are you doing over here anyway?" I glace over at the spot where I first saw riley "oh your waiting for her? good luck she hasn't been around lately not even with Zack these past couple nights either"

"wait what?" he pulls out a cigarette "yeah I've seen Zack around his usual places but shes been no where in sight, he probably is keeping her locked up" he lights his cigarette and takes a puff "Why would he be doing that?" he looks at me a little surprised "dude zack might be the most jealous controlling guy ever. I mean not just with her that's how he normally is with everything but I would imagine it be way worse with her  then anything else" I start to feel angry she can do so much better than that idiot.. she deserves the world and that drug head wont be able to give her shit! at least not what she wants anyway... if she loved him like she says he does she wouldn't have kissed me and spend so much time with me like she did.. I start walking away "Where are you going?" I pull out my phone  "im going to call in a favor" I get to my car by the time he picks up "Jayden Mi Hermano what do you need?" I sigh "its a couple things actually." "i owe you a favor but you know everything comes with a price is this worth it?" I sigh "yeah man she kind of is"

I get to raffs. and his greeting party comes along I turn off my car and step out "Jim, Jose" they nod and I head inside and up to raffs, office. he lives in a nice part of LA- but he kind of sticks out like a sore thumb, his house is surrounded by a huge white wall with security lurking out of every corner, he makes sure to keep this place low key with not a lot of activity to keep his family safe. I knock "come in" as I open the door he smiles "you've grown quite a lot  jayden" I shrug "its been a few years" he laughs I guess it has been, sit down" I take a seat in the chair in front  of his desk "so tell me more about this favor" I lean back " to start off i need information about two people" he looks at me a little curious "Zack Andrews and Riley im not sure of her last name" he sits up "why would you need information on Zack and his Girl" he knows her? "that's not important.. also id like for you to keep and eye on her? Zacks got some problems and there trying to use her to get to him" "ahh yes I was told about the situation with Zander, you want that I take care of him?" I shake my head "no I just would like you to keep riley safe" he laughs again

"ahh estas enamorado! you are in love with this girl! interesting Jayden going after a drug dealers girl that's dangerous, this part of the deals going to cost you" I shrug "anything for her" he nods "alright head home" he pulls out a phone and hands it to me "ill call you when I need you. you already know the drill" I grab the phone, the door opens and a guy walks in ad hands him two folders, he slides one over to me "this is all the information I have on zack, including the stuff you gathered a while back" he hands me another folder "and this is everything I have on his girl riley" I grab both folders "Thanks Raff. ill bring this back soon" I stand "anything for Jessica's brother" I nod and head back to my House as soon as I get there I head to my room and open the folder I start with Zacks

History: Grew up in the darker parts of east LA, was abandoned by his parents at the age of 6 after being beaten and rapped by his father and witnessing his mothers death, He started living on his own started doing small jobs for a few drug dealers[names classified] such as transportation, hiding ETC. took in a young girl at the age of 12[Riley Sinclair]  stolen from her father, has no criminal record, started own drug dealing at the age of 16, does a couple of side jobs such as hustling, stealing ETC. currently he is head of his own "division" keeps everything tight, he's in trouble with several others [classified] owing several thousand dollars to each individual. suffers from drug and alcohol addiction as well as multiple personality disorder, bi-polar and anger issues[ more is provided in folders D214-d350]

I close the folder how does he know his medical records.. guess that's raff for you. on to riley

History: her mother died giving birth too her, her father is an alcoholic and drug addict, Giving the fact that she looked so much like her mother her father beat her and sexually abused of her several times from the age of 6-8 before being taken away from her father by a young boy [Zackery] she went on to live on her own with him, becoming a drug addict at the age of 14[to currently] started dating Zackery at the age of 13 couple has been together since, her father still looks for her but can never find her as zack keeps her under close watch, her father is-

"JAYDEN!" I sigh and close the folder and push them under a pillow as I get up and head down to see what my mother wants "what is it?" she's waiting for me at the bottom of the staircase with her arms folded shit she doesn't look happy.. " I just got a phone call from marry" I sigh "about?" "if your going to the mascaraed with her you should not be so rude to her" greaaatttt a lecture " I wasn't being rude to her mother" "that is not what I heard! you need to start acting like a gentlemen just because you've been away from home for a while and when you get back you become friends with a druggie doesn't mean you are allowed to act like anything less than what you are, you really shouldn't let people influence you so  easily, I allowed you to be friends with Derek because I believed that you knew  your place as well as his, I thought a little diversity in classes would allow you to understand how grateful you should be, and to never stoop so low as to be a doggie or god forbid a drug dealer as you would not have a-" "Jessica was a druggie!" I spat back " you gave her everything and she still became addicted to drugs! so much so that it killed her! don't act like you forgot that you had another child!" she looks at me in shock

"you never even cared to know why she started doing drugs in the first place! it was because of you! it was because of all this! Your so controlling and demanding! you don't let people do anything that might let you look bad! its always about you! my big sister died because of you!" Theres a long pause she just looks at me, ive never spoken to my mom like that but I couldn't help it I wasn't going to let her just speak bad about Derek or Riley and I sure as well wasn't going to let her act like Jessica didn't exist.. when she doesn't say anything I leave and head to dereks I need time away from my mom.. I cant believe  she acted as she didn't have a drug addict in the family.. someone as close as my sister her own daughter! and she had the nerve to start talking about riley. This time its going to be different I wasn't there for my sister I didn't know how to be but this time I going to be there for riley in going to help her through this she is worth so much more than those drugs and being around Zack wont help her.. shes my street dancer and I going to save her.
