"RILEY!" I flinch and press my back further agents the wall "GODDAMN IT RILEY WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!" I hear his foots steps getting closer, my hands start to shake "please don't find me please" I hear the door of my room swing open and the lights turn on I hold my breath and hope but it's no use my closet door swings open and he picks me up by my neck "YOU LITTLE BITCH WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT HIDING FROM ME!" "I-Im sorry dad" I manage to choke out he smacks me causing me to see black spots "you're going to pay for this you little bitch"
I wake up shaking and in a cold sweat I look around I don't see Jayden so I walk into the bathroom and splash cold water on my face "it was just a dream Riley.. Just a dream" I turn the bathroom light off and walk about into the bed room. I feel two arms wrap around me I scream but he covers my mouth "Riley what's wrong?!" I turn my head and see Jayden I relax, he lets go of me "I'm sorry I just.." I sigh "nightmare?" He asks I nod he picks me up and takes me over to our bed, he sits and puts me on his lap "I told you princess you're safe with me" I smile at him " I know jay I trust you" I get off his lap and we lay down to go back to bed. It's been almost a month since I've been with jay, I haven't heard from zack or even seen him around.. I am a little worried but jay doesn't think it's a good idea for me to go see him. After what feels forever of not being able to sleep I get up and walk to the living room, me and jay have an apartment since we can't stay at his parents, I sit on the sofa and pull out my phone and decided to text zack.. I know I know he hasn't been the best person last we where together but I owe him so much... I owe him my life
*text messages*
Riley; hey zack..
Zack: Riley!? Kitten! Where are you..
Riley; I'm sorry I can't really tell...
I look at my phone as it starts to vibrate and Zacks name flashes on it I take a deep breath and pick up "hello?" "Riley.. I'm so sorry for what I did where are you, are you okay? Are you coming home soon baby it's been almost a month and I haven't heard from you I thought..." I sigh " Zack I'm fine don't worry, how are you.." There's a little silence "I miss you Riley.. Please come home.." I hear the door open and I quickly hang up and walk over to jay "couldn't sleep princess?" I shrug "no...not really " he smiles "well how about you find us a good movie and I'll see what we have to eat" I smile back at him and look at the clock "it's nearly 1 am honey you can go to bed"he shakes his head "no way you can't sleep I'll stay up its fine now go look for a movie" he kisses me and disappears into the kitchen, I walk over to the collection of movies we started and pick out my favorite.. You guessed it step up marathon! I pull the movies walk over to our Tv and pop it in just as jay walks back in with two plates of Chinese and Indian left overs I smile as he hands me my plate just as my tummy growls he laughs "someone's hungry" I look down sheepishly "yeah sort of" we both sit on the sofa just as the movie starts through the movie my phone keeps vibrating and zacks name just keeps popping up, eventually I just turn it off and enjoy my night with jay
