"Shay, we can't see you keep doing this to yourself! You need help!" Austin Carlile shouted at his best friend.

"I told you guys I'm fine! This is none of your damn business!!" Shayley Bourget screamed while downing a handful of Vicodin.

"Shay, is this really necessary?" Questioned Phil.

"Oh, screw you Phil!!"

"We're just trying-" Tino was cut off.

"Yeah, yeah... Just trying to help. Got it. But where was this help when I almost overdosed and Karim found me on the brink of Death? Huh? Or when she had a miscarriage and needed her friends for support? Huh? You know what, I'm done!!! I'm out of the band!!! Find someone else who can tolerate this bullshit of a band!!!"

"Shay!" Karim called out.

"I don't care about them anymore Kar!"

And with that, the two of them left.

That terrible night had happened Four and a Half years ago, and no one has heard from Shay or Karim since.

Karim walked into Starbucks and ordered her usual drink.

Her and Shay had called off their relationship about two months after that night and she is perfectly fine being single.

Karim was waiting for her name to be called, when a familiar looking Ginger came out of the restroom.

"Alan?" She called out.

"Karim! How have you been? I missed you! Austin and Tino are pissed that you haven't kept in touch, and I'm pretty sure Phil misses you! Oh my gosh, you have to meet Aaron! He looks exactly like a clone of Jack Black when he did School of Rock!"

"Karim, Alan." The barista called out and they picked up their orders.

"So, you guys found someone?" Karim asked.

"Yes. And I don't know if he's picked a side in this whole war. I'm sure you'll be fine though."

"So do you need a ride, Alan? Or is it somewhere close?"

"The bus is actually across the street in the WalMart parking lot. Care to give me a lift?"

"Sure, hop in!" She said as they carried on with the very short ride to the bus while sipping their coffees.

"Do you want to come in?" Alan asked as he got out of the car.

"I don't know."

"Come on! You'll be fine." He reassured her, while grabbing her hand, forcing her out of the car.

"GUYS! GUYS!" Alan called to the back lounge while dragging Karim up the stairs.

"WHAT THE FUCK, ALAN. I ALMOST HAD TINO-" Austin shouted while walking to the front followed by Aaron, Tino and Phil, but stopped when he saw Karim.

"KARIM!!!!" Phil screamed, while engulfing her in a hug.

"Look who I found while making my run to Starbucks."

"What the bloody hell is she doing here?" Tino asked.

"I wanted her to meet Aaron."

Aaron walked towards Karim and extended a hand.

"Names Aaron. Alan has told me a lot about you."

Karim shook it and smiled.

"Why haven't you called or texted us? You're such a bitch for walking out on us like that!" Austin verbally slammed Karim.

"I had no choice! I knew that if I stayed with you guys, Shay would kill me and if I stayed with Shay, you guys wouldn't talk to me. So, I stayed with Shay. Doesn't matter anyway, Shay and I are no longer a growing concern."

Phil looked confused.

"It means they're no longer a couple, Phil! He's an asshat for leaving the band and he's the dumbest person ever for caring about a worthless pig like you!" Tino spat.

Karim ran and left the bus.

"AUSTIN ROBERT CARLILE AND VALENTINO ARTEAGA!!! HOW DARE YOU INSULT OUR FRIEND!!!" Alan spat at them, stood up and followed Karim, with Aaron and Phil hot on his trail.

They found her crying in her car and got in.

"How could they say that!" She said amongst her tears.

"I know I just met you, but I believe in never judging a book by its cover. I believe in judging a person by their heart, and to me it seems that you have an incredible heart. They're just major asshats for saying those hurtful things." Aaron said while placing a reassuring hand on Karim's shoulder.

"Yeah, Aaron's right! They just need time to readjust having you back." Phil said while giving her a hug from the backseat.

"And you'll always have me, Squidgy, Phil, and your new pal Aaron no matter if they forgive you or not." Alan said wiping away the tears on Karim's face.

"SQUIDGY, SQUIDGY! Fa la la la la! SQUIDGY, SQUIDGY! Fa la la la la! Squidgy, we love you so much!" Karim sang causing the whole car to erupt into laughter.

Everything in Karim's life seemed to be on an uphill scale.

Reconnecting with Phil and Alan, and making a new friend in Aaron.

She just hopes Austin and Tino will come around and see she did nothing completely wrong. This was all Shay's fault.
