I'm going to do it. Today, of all days, I'm going to take my relationship to the next level with Karim. Alan thought giving himself a pep talk.

Today is Christmas, Karim's favorite holiday. And Alan is going to ask her the "Big" question, in a fun way: he is sending her on a scavenger hunt.

"Hey, babe. I'm home." Karim calls out as she sets her keys on the entrance table.

No answer.

She then notices a note on the back of the couch.

It read: I can hold hot things and cool them. But, I myself, am cold and also house food.

The fridge??

She walked to the kitchen and spotted the next post it.

You can write and record in me. I am a great stress reliever.

The home recording studio???

She walked down the small flight of stairs and went to the vocal booth and saw the yellow piece of paper.

Getting warmer. I am green, I have branches, ornaments, and Alan put the star on top of me.

The Christmas tree!!!

She ran all the way to the tree and saw another post it on it.

You are so hot!!! Now turn around to receive a Christmas present.

Karim turned around and there Alan was: on one knee and with a gorgeous diamond ring in a box.

"Karim Justine Asher, I have loved you since the day we met. You have stuck through with me when all the shit with the band went down. I will love you forever, I will try and be the best husband and future father to our future kids. Will you do me the honor of being Mrs. Ashby?"

Karim was in tears (happy tears!!), and she shook her head yes.

Alan slipped the ring on her and and kissed her.

This was the best present Karim could ever ask for.
