**My Wish (Rook/OC), Alice series finale**

A/N: Series finale for my friend, im_Asher. Sorry if part is a little TMI.

Nine Months Pregnant

Alice is nearing the end of her pregnancy when Rook announces that MGK is going back on tour.

"You heard the doctor. I could go into labor any day now. What happens when I do go and you aren't here?"

"Alice, don't worry. My sister lives nearby and if anything, she'll take you to the hospital. Then, I will be on the first flight home."

"I just," Alice stops mid sentence and looks at the floor then back at Rook, "My water just broke."

Contractions hit, Alice leans over the couch and breathes while Rook gets the car packed and calls MGK and the rest of the band.

Finally, Rook helps Alice out to the car. Just as Rook opens her car door, one big contraction hits and they sway through it before heading to the hospital.

When they are about to turn the corner to enter the parking lot, "Rook, I feel like I have to push."

"Hold on, I am just about to the door!"

Rook parks under the awning and runs into the ER.

"Help! My girlfriend is in labor and feels like she needs to push!"

A few minutes later, Alice is surrounded by Rook, the on call L&D doctor, a team of baby doctors and a gurney.

The L&D doctor notices that the baby is crowning.

"OK, Alice. I am going to have to deliver the baby now. It is not going to wait. So, I am going to need you to give me one big push and hold your breath."

Alice holds Rooks', who is now sitting (uncomfortably) behind Alice, hand and follows the doctors orders.

"10...9...Good! 8....7...More Alice!...6...5...4...3...2...1. Breathe! Again! 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1."

This happened for two more pushes when a baby's cry feels the parking lot.

"IT'S A BOY!" Announces the doctor, as she gives the baby to the Nursery team.

After the doctor monitors the baby for a minute, she and the ER team help Alice onto the gurney.

Two Hours Later

Everyone is now settled into a room, and is now joined by MGK.

A doctor with papers walks in.

"How is the new family doing?"

"Happy and exhausted." Alice says while holding a sleeping baby.

"I'm just here with the standard hospital paperwork. First, I understand they weighed him back in the nursery, correct? How much did he weigh?"

"7 Pounds, 8 Ounces. He was 20 1/2 inches." Rook answered.

"That just leaves one more question. The name?"

Rook and Alice look adoringly at their new son.

"Logan Joshua."
