Today, February 14th a.k.a Valentine's Day, is Alan & Karim's 3-year anniversary.

"Where are you taking me?" A blindfolded Karim asked Alan excitedly as he drove his truck past a NO TRESPASSING AFTER 7:45 PM sign.

"It's a surprise!" He told her.

As soon as he parked, he put the tailgate down & help her out and onto the bed of the truck.

"Now open!" He said as he took the blindfold off of her.

"Alan, I've always wanted to do this!!!" She said as they laid down.

Karim had a life bucket list and Alan snuck around to find it.

Item number one: Watch airplanes take off.

They waited about half an hour, when finally a Delta Airlines jet took off.

"Whoa! That was clo-" Karim was suddenly cut off by the sound of sirens behind them.

Alan looked at his watch.

"Oh, shit!" He said.

"Evening, kids." One of the Officers said.

"Is there a problem Officer?" Karim asked her.

"My name is Officer Fairchild, do you have permission to be out here at this hour? This is private property?"

Karim turned to Alan and asked, "What is she talking about?"

"This part of the airport is closed after a certain time. I just wanted you to get your wish of watching airplanes take off."

What he didn't know is that she was going to add another item: Get caught doing something illegal.

Karim turned back around towards the Officer.

"Do you have a cigarette I could have?" She asked.

The male Officer accompanying Officer Fairchild stepped toward her and as soon as he did, he slapped a set of cuffs on her.

"Get away from her!" Alan shouted.

"My name is Officer Morris. And I will read you your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will and can be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you do not have one, one will be appointed to you. Do I make myself clear?" He asked while pressing Alan's head against the hood of the car with one hand, while slapping cuffs on him with the other, "Fairchild, let's go take these lovebirds away!"

As soon as the Officers put Alan & Karim in the car, Karim ducked and whispered, "As soon as we get there, RUN!"

"Are you crazy???" Alan asked.

The front doors opened & the two Officers got in.

It was about another fifteen silent minutes until the Police pulled into a parking lot in front a giant white building.

They pulled Karim and Alan out and took their cuffs off.

Before the officers had time to ring the bell to be let in, the two lovebirds took off hand in hand.
