1400 hours - Fuefuki, Japan
following his arrival at a train station in Fuefuki, Evan was greeted by Detective Akazawa from the local police along with a British Interpol agent. they eventually left in a Vauxhall Insignia sedan to where Riley stayed until his death. upon their arrival, Evan discussed what his old friend was like to him before he moved away due to his temper issues. after that, they began searching his bedroom for anything relevant to the suicide. they continued for hours until they were able to find a note in the bin, the note contained phone numbers and information of a certain selection of people as listed out. "who the bloody hell could these people be?" the Interpol agent said. "whoever they are, they could either be helping him or he could be looking for them..." Evan replied as he stared blankly at the note. "i'm gonna try these numbers and maybe look these people up" Evan said before walking out with the note. on his way to the car, he found a small and fluffy white rabbit hopping to him. he knew who it was, it was Gaz, Riley's pet rabbit. he picked up the rabbit and placed it in the back seat of the car then waited for the two men to come out of the building
2000 hours - Akazawa's house
after the investigation, the three went to have dinner at Akazawa's house where Evan and the Interpol agent will be staying for the assigned time. after eating dinner, Akazawa recieved a call about a mugging that happened nearby. "speak of the devil, another mugging. Agent Hollis, can you take him to his room?" Akazawa askes the Interpol agent after a sigh. "sure" he replied with a nod, prompting Akazawa to leave. "follow me, Evan" Hollis said as he walked up the stairs then Evan followed along to his assigned room. "here it is...there ain't much but at least it's better than taking a long ride back" Hollis said as he showed Evan his assigned room. "it'll be fine, don't worry" Evan said before switching on the lights and walking in. the two eventually took a shower and prepared to sleep for the night. moments before Evan could fall asleep, his phone rang. it was Jack calling him. "'ello?" Evan said through the phone. "how's the investigation coming along?" Jack asked. "i picked up a note in his room, it's got some info on people" Evan answered. "have you tried contacting or looking for them?" Jack asked. "i thought about doing it tomorrow" Evan answered. "well you should, i'll head over there tomorrow, alright?" Jack asked. "yeah, alright" Evan replied then ended the call. "what the bloody hell was happening here, Riley" Evan mumbled before falling asleep.
