"Mr.Adrian Hamilton, Dr. Michael would like to see you now." The receptionist said through the speakers.
I stood up quickly and walked towards Dr.Michaels office with a nervous feeling, I never liked going to the doctor but this one was a therapist.
Doesn't seem like much a difference to me I said to myself, confirming my fears.
I arrived at a hallway and found his office near the end, it had a large metal sign on it that read:
"Dr. Michael Skye
Psychologist/Therapist"Welp, here goes I thought to myself as I knocked on the door, breathing a deep sigh.
"Come in" The doctor said with a firm voice.
I opened the door to see that the room had shelves filled with psychology books and other such stuff and a rather large wooden desk in the middle with a chair in front.
Dr. Michael was sitting on his chair, his square shoulders making him look more like a general than a psychologist, he was reading my file while muttering to himself.
"Sit down please." The doctor said as he gestured towards the chair in front of him, still looking at the file. I did as I was told and sat down.
"Im Dr. Skye but everyone calls me Dr. Michael" he said as he offered a handshake, I shook his hand with my very shaky hands, I tried to control it but it seemed he noticed.
"Your a little nervous arent you?" He asked but I didnt reply so he changed the subject "Do you have any history with hallucinations, weird dreams etc?", I paused for a second, a bit nervous about answering.
"Go on, its fine, take your time" he reassured me with a soft voice.
"W-well I did have hallucinations as a child and these weird nightmares, I've gotten control of them but they seem to be appearing a lot lately" I answerd hesitantly, my hand was shaking more intensely.
"Can you describe to me what these dreams are Mr.Hamilton?" He asked curiously.
"It always starts with me running a way from this strange shadow then it engulfs me with its darkness and mutters something I barely understand. Everytime I have that dream, no matter how fast I run the shadows always catches me" I told him what was basically the short form of my ghastly nightmares.
"Well, thats very informative." The doctor said while he was scribbling notes on a blue notepad "I'm sorry but I have to cut this session here, it was nice speaking with you and though it is rather short. I have very important business to attend to but I will call you for our next appointment" He continued with a rather nervous hint in his voice.
"Ok, uhm thanks Doc." I said streching my hand out for a handshake, he took it rather hastily and said "Again I am extremely sorry but I have to go" while taking his hat and coat. I opened the door for him and we both headed out our seperate ways.
Well that was weird I thought to myself walking out of the office and out into the streets.
