----- Picture of Samantha above -----
My gaze matched Jeremy's, neither one of us wanted to back down.
"You're crazy woman!" Tate spoke.
"You can't do this Samantha. What if they kill you? I wouldn't be able to go on!" Eliza's voice cracked.
Jeremy stood up, making me have to tilt my head back to glare at him.
"I won't let you leave Samantha. I will report you if I have too."
I pushed Jeremy with all my force, but he only stumbled back against the wall. He grabbed my wrists and pulled me to him, and I bumped into his chest.
We continued glaring at each other. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Tate and Eliza slip out of my room.
"Samantha, you're fucking nuts. You think you can get out of here? You can't, and I won't let you try."
I ripped my wrists out of his grasp and backed up. I shook my head. "I'm leaving. I will find a way out. When I do, I'll convince you, Eliza and Tate to come with me and Vic."
He opened his mouth to speak, but before words could spill out, I yelled at him. "Why do you even care?"
Jeremy stiffened against the wall, looking at me with hardened eyes. "Isn't it obvious?"
With one step he had pushed me against the opposite wall and was towering over me. Before I could question what he was doing, his lips were on mine.
My eyes widened.
No. Jeremy wasn't supposed to develop feelings for me. Not at all.
Jeremy leaned back and stared down at me. He sighed. "Sam-"
"I'm still leaving."
"Fuck, Sam! You don't understand."
"Oh I think she does." A voice said. I nearly jumped out of my skin.
Jeremy stiffened in front of me, but I looked over his shoulder to see blue-eyed boy standing in my room.
I stared at him. "Have you heard of knocking?"
This seemed to knock Jeremy put of his daze. He whipped around and glared icily at Mr. Blue-eyes. "What the hell do you mean, Kaleb?
Kaleb! His name is Kaleb.
Kaleb smirked, and looked at me. "You all know exactly what I mean."
Jeremy looked pissed that Kaleb was here, and had possibly heard all of our conversation.
"How much did you hear?" I questioned.
Kaleb sat down on my chair, extending his long legs and folding his arms behind his head. "Enough. Oh and by the way, if you're going to kiss someone, it should be me." He winked.
Jeremy growled. "Get out."
Kaleb pretended to ponder for a second. "Hmm. No. I quite like it here. Plus, me and Samantha have a little bit of planning to do."
I nearly choked on air.
"W- what?" I sputtered.
He grinned at me. "An escape plan of course. I'm coming with."
I couldn't help it. I laughed. Slowly my laughter died down when I noticed he was just staring at me with an amused expression. "Wait. You're serious? Hell no!"
"Too late cupcake. I'm coming whether you like it or not."
Jeremy growled again and then looked at me. "I'm leaving, before I rip his head off his shoulders."
