Coming towards us, Manik gave me a confused look.
Manik ( concerned ) : kya hua? ????.....tum itni gusse mein kyon ho? ?????
Before I could say anything, the boy with the bleeding nose, decided to fill in the blanks.
Cabir ( smiling ) : kuch nehin Manik. ....Miss Nandini just gifted me with a punch! !!!!!
On hearing this, Manik just gaped at me, amused. Whereas, the other three with him, burst out laughing.
Me ( pov ) ( pissed off ) : am I the only one here. ....jisko inn ka joke samajh nehin aa raha! !!!!
The tomboy looking girl spoke, controlling her laughter "iss ne Cabir ki bolti baand kar di! !!!!......Manik. ....she is something! !!!!.....I really like her. ..
The barbie looking girl added "yes Mukti .....she is really adorable! !!!!"
Me ( pov ) ( annoyed ) : are you guy's talking about me? ??????
Well, my chain of thoughts was broken, as Manik said " Nandini. ....yeh mera dost Cabir hai. ....jisko tum ne itni byerehmi se punch kiya! !!!!"
Me ( sarcastically ) : yeah right! !!!!.....main toh bhul hi gayi thi. ....Pervert ka dost Womaniser! !!!!!
At my comment, I heard another round of laughter.
Me ( pov ) ( pissed off ) : what is wrong with these people! !!!!!
Mukti ( smiling like a fool ): did she just called Manik a Pervert? ????.....I mean. ...this is just perfect! !!!!
Me ( losing my patience ): excuse me! !!!!!
Stepping forward, Navya just took my hand in hers. I was a little taken aback by her action, but didn't object.
Navya ( with a cute smile ): please Cabir ji ko maaf kar doo. .....iss mein inn ki koi galti nehin thi! !!!!.....darasal maine unn ke liye ek watch kharida tha. ....par jab unnhe pataa chala ki woh watch kitna expensive tha. ....toh unn hone woh lene se maane kar diya! !!!....aur iss baat pein mujhe roona aa gaya !!!!
I just glared at Navya, like a fool.
Me ( in despair ): oh shit! !!!!....toh tum ne mujhe pehele kyon nehin baataya? ????.....mujhe laaga ki koi serious matter hoga! !!!!....aur upar se tum itna roo rahi thi!!!!!.....I am such a fool. ...
While I was busy in blabbering, Navya hugged me. On realising what she did, I just stopped talking. My arms where in air and my body stiffened.
Navya ( crying ) : thank you Nandini. ...thank you so much. ...aaj taak humare liye kisi ne bhi ladaai nehin ki! !!!!.....thank you. ...tum ne humare bareme soccha. ....tum bahut acchi ho. ...bahut acchi. ...
I was just touched by this stupid girl's affection. With a smile on my face,I hugged her back.
Me ( softly ): hey. ...stop crying. ...yeh toh mera farz tha. ....after all. ...a friend in need is a friend indeed! !!!!
Raising her head, Navya looked at me through her teary red eyes.
Navya ( with a choked voice ) : tum. ...meri dost baanogi? ????
Me ( with a sheepish smile ): ab. ....jab tum ne mera shirt aapne aankhon ke tsunami se bheega hi diya hai. ....toh dosti karne ke alawa aur koi raasta hi nehin hai mere pass. ...
On hearing this, she again hugged me. While the others, just smiled at us.
Breaking the hug, I took a deep breath.
Me ( pov ) : itna saara emotional torture. ...I just can't handle! !!!....thank you ayyappa. ...you saved me. ...and also thanks. ..for a new friend! !!!
