A Rogue's Vampire

Chapter one: A Vampire Clan

Darkness fell, and stars started popping in the sky. A chill ran down my spine, and the wind whipped through my hair whispering in my ears. This was a night to remember I could feel it in my bones. I stood in the shadows of a house only I knew belonged to vampires. They lived within our society, went to our schools, but being the wolf I was, I knew from the very start who they really were. They were the 'populars' as you could put it but so much nicer than the 'barbies' we had at school who thought they were 'popular'. When they first came I went in high alert, I had been a rouge for so long, not even my parents knew I was a wolf, I guess it must have been something hidden within my family for thousands of years, with it only coming out when it mixed with my blood. My ears pricked up as the vampires entered their house. Ebonnie, Jordan and Georgia, 3 sisters of the night, came into the room. I could see from where I was hidden among the trees, they were all stunning in there own way, Georgia had long flowing dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes whenever they weren't yellow or red, Ebonnie had light brown hair that was always up in a ponytail and eyes that were always yellow (she was a newborn) and finally there was Jordan she had straight golden blonde hair and sharp blue eyes when ever her eyes weren't red. They were now sat watching the TV, my ears could just pick up it was the 1st Harry Potter movie.

The feeling of something bad came back again running down my spine and back up again. It had something to do with those 3 but I couldn't work out what it was. This thing had been troubling me for the past few weeks not matter what, it would come to me in my dreams even in school when I was trying to do a maths quiz. I couldn't pick out what was going to happen just who it would involve, it was so confusing. I heard a rustle behind me, and leapt up the tree next to me, no one could no I was here.

"Dude did your hear that?"

"No now hurry or we'll miss the movie." The two voices came through the leaves that surrounded me. As the owners of the voices walked below the tree I was sat in, I realised it was Josh and Max, another two vampires from the clan. They had all moved here a year or so ago, with Olly and Eddy as well. Josh was Ebonnie's 'boyfriend' as you could put it and Max was Georgia's, and yes Eddy was Jordan's. Olly was still single for all I knew but I'm sure that wouldn't last long with the amount of girls that literally drooled over him. They all lived in the mansion like house up on the top of the hill behind my house (where they were now). As the voices faded away and I heard the door slam, I jumped down from my now very uncomfortable perch and landed on the dry leaves that littered the ground.

I was almost back in the spot I had been spying from when

"What are you doing here" said a deep voice behind me. I gulped. Slowly turning around, to face Eddy and Olly. I mentally face palmed. How stupid could I get, I should have known, they always went round together so when they weren't with the other two I should have known they would be coming. My mouth opened and closed like a fish.

Gulping again"s-s-s-s-orry, i-i-i wasn't doing anything" I stuttered trying to build up some courage that had slipped away from me.

"You're coming with us" said Eddy who I know knew had spoken before. I shook my head, indicating I didn't want to go.

"Sorry you have to come" Olly said, he didn't seem as menacing as Eddy. Before I could get a second saying in the matter they hauled me off my feet over Olly's shoulder and into the house.

I tried to struggle, but the more I struggled the more they would hold on, there was no way I was getting out of this. Everything could only go down hill from now. I heard the door opening and closing and feet as they padded along the carpet. suddenly I was placed down on my feet.

"Eddy! your back, I missed you" Jordan called then stopped abruptly when she saw me. I was trying to back away but Olly behind me stopped me from making it to the door.

"Sweetie why have you got Sophie?" Jordan asked looking up at Eddy who towered a head over her.

"Nothing darling, but she was in the woods out back, and you know that can not be a good thing." She sighed and nodded, indicating she knew this is what had to happen. Whilst they were all talking about what to do I felt bile rise in my throat. I knew this wasn't a good idea, nothing good can come from being near vampires. Their smell filled my nostrils, making my food from earlier want to make a visit back to this world. I knew not all vampires were bad but could they at least take a bath or something, the deathly smell was really one to kill. I tried again to back out of the room, but again Olly stopped me.

"Please, just don't they will only hurt you if you run" he whispered, so even the other vampires in the room couldn't hear, to only me. I looked into his eyes to see if the truth is what he spoke, and I froze. A tingle went down my spine, not the bad kind but the kind you only get when that someone special is around. I glanced back down at my feet before he could notice, but I knew in that one second he was my mate. A mate was someone the moon goddess has made to be your other half and only for you. I had done my research, like you would do whenever something strange happened to you, that most wolfs find there mate around there teenage years though it made it hard for rouges as they were either always moving or didn't have a pack. For me, it was that I did not have a pack. Though what shocked me more was that never have I heard of a wolf mate with a vampire, it was purely against our natures. Something must have been wrong my head was trying to say, but I knew in my heart that it was true. I then realised that I could not tell him, I could not stand the thought of being rejected, it would only kill me (literally).

"Sophie?" Jordan asked as I turned around trying to wipe the evidence that was on my face about Olly being my mate.

"Yeah?" I asked cautiously. With the 4 words 'something bad's gonna happen' running through my mind at a hundred miles per an hour.

"What were you doing outside our house?" I tried to come up with answers to tell them but like always when put on the spot everything flies out my head and into the wild where my other half belongs.

"Um...umm..." this was not going to end well.

"So?" Georgia asked, an annoyed look plastered on her face, no wonder, I had kinda stopped her from watching the movie.

"I-I...." still no sentences where formed.

I felt a cold hand rest on the small of my back.

"Sophie its fine they wont hurt you", his soothing voice relax me and I subconsciously leaned into his touch. Max snapped me out the trance I was in.

"Yo Olly, dude stop touching the wolf chick". I froze. They knew. Knew the secret I had kept for so long. The secret that used to just be mine was no longer only mine.
