The world around me fuzzed out and back in again, as I tried to get my head around the 'facts' that had been spoken. It couldn't be true. They didn't seem like the sort of people to kill someone; even if they were vampires. Or had I been completely wrong about these people who had been the only ones to actually want to be my friend. Maybe you really couldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Sophie, don't listen to them, we didn't mean to do it!" Jordan pleaded, from across the metal room where she and the others were chained to the walls. Rings around their wrists and ankles kept them from movie anywhere but a few meters.

"So that means you did kill someone," I said, horrified by these people I was willing to call my friends.

"Yes..I mean no, oh I don't know," Jordan spoke again, "It's a very very long story."

"I don't mind," I said pointing to the chains then crossing my arms, "It's not like we're going anywhere."

Jordan looked conflicted, chooses flickering pass her eyes. "Fine." She said as I sat down cross-legged ready for this 'long' story.

"Okay," she started, "this was all a long time ago, well for you anyway. And yes we did kill someone, but really we did it only to protect the people we loved. See Jack's soul mate, Jack's the creepy guy who's doing all of this and kidnapped you, was not your average vampire, she didn't follow the rules that the head vampires had giving the vampire community, and well putting it simply was just plain evil. Well you see we didn't get along with her from the moment we met, and she definitely had it I'm for us. So yeah at one point we had settled down and became friends with some humans, and well she used that against us and tried to kill them ending in us killing her, well it was mostly eddy anyway. Love ya eddy," Jordan added with a cheeky wink at the end. "So yeah that's pretty much it, of course there's a lot more that added to the tension, so yeah there's the story," she ended looking just a little awkward.

I sat there in shock, just staring at them. This story seemed true enough, so why did I feel something was missing.

"Okay, but where do I come into this? I most likely wasn't even alive then so why am I here."

"Oh that's simple," Eddy spoke up, "Jack knew you where Olly's soul mate, and the prophet who told him that told him you would be his downfall from the power he had wanted to gain. That's why he gave you the book, to try make you believe that you were to kill us, so he wouldn't have to get his hands dirty," he said with no emotion at all.

I went through this in my head and to be frankly honest it all added up apart from one thing, what were my parents hiding?

"Oh...so do you know what my parents and brother are hiding,"

"Sorry Sophie we don't," Ebonnie added in.

Hummm why was this all getting so confusing? Why couldn't my life be simple?

Anyway back to the present how the hell are we going to get out of here. There must be some way out, I looked over to the door that some how kind of merged into the wall and was hard to see. Walking over I tried to push and pull both ways but the door would not move, it was completely stuck. Well there goes plan A. Thinking again about what I could do I decided to unchain the vampires that were tied to the wall. Using the strength my wolf gave me I was able to rip them free. One by one they where free and standing up.

"Okay so we need a plan," Georgia said stating the obvious.

"Well done Sherlock!" Ebonnie retorted. The tension in the room grew worse as time went on. I really did not want to be stuck in a room with grumpy and blood thirsty vampires, not when I was still half human. I liked my blood where it was thank you very much.

Ready to say something to ease the tension I opened my mouth, when suddenly the door that I had tried to open some time ago flew in and nearly knocked me out in the process. Following it came a rather frustrated looking Olly.

"Sophie! OMG Sophie your okay, I've been so worried," he said through his uneven breathing and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"O-ll-yyy cc-aa-nn-tt bb-rr-eeaa-tthh," I managed to stutter out as his tight hold loosened.

"Sorry," he said looking very apologetic.

Our moment was interrupted by Jordan butting in,

"Not to intrude or anything, but Olly how the hell did you find us!?!"

Olly looked to the floor then up to me, I nodded knowing we should tell them.

"Well you see I just followed the mate bond thingy," he said scratching the back of his neck with the hand that wasn't round my waist. It was cute seeing this side of him.

"Oh you can do that?" Eddy asked.

I nodded then paused, "wait you sound like you knew we were mates."

"Duhh Sophie, it was so obvious from the start!" Jordan joked.

"What the hell! Was I the only one who didn't know?" Olly complained. We all nodded, which I guessed would have looked freaky to anyone else as our heads moved all at the same time.

"Okay now is not the time for this," Ebonnie interrupted, "we should probably get out of here. You do know the way out right Olly."

"I'm gonna pretend you didn't mean that in a cruel way, and yes I do know the way out thank you very much." Olly replied, as he took my hand and lead us all back outside of the building we had been held captive.
