Blood Wars Book One: Kyrie Kerr's Journey

Prologue

Prologue:

~ December 31st, 20015; New Years Eve ~

It was a cold winter night in December where we first meet our Heroine, twenty-three year old Kyrie Garrison, along with her two sisters, Twenty-seven year old Samantha Luciano, and nineteen year old Kelly Kirst. The three sisters lived in a four bedroom, two bathroom home in the middle of a small town called Modesto in California. They had lived in the small city of Modesto ever since Samantha had turned eighteen and she and Kelly left their grandparents home in Arizona to live with their sister, Kyrie and their sisters Grandfather Steven Beck. The three sisters were not blood related you see, although the three had made a blood pact when they were younger, promising each other that they would always be sisters to the bitter end. No, these three sisters were actually step sisters of Kyrie, Samantha and Kelly being blood sisters and sisters to Kyrie since Samantha was fifteen and Kelly was seven, when their mother Sandra or "Sandy", married Kyrie's father Kenneth Garrison when Kyrie was eleven years old. The three sisters had been almost completely on their own together since her father and step mother were both murdered, along with her mother and step father, by a pack of werewolves, when Kyrie was just sixteen years old.

You see, in the world that Kyrie and her sisters lived in, Werewolves, Vampires, shape-shifters and many other Supernatural beings that you can think of all existed. And the three sisters were some of the few people who hunted the evil ones who disobeyed the laws of the supernatural world, like the werewolves who killed the three girl's families.

But tonight was not about Hunting the Lawless and disobedient. No tonight was a night where Kyrie and her sisters could sit back and relax and not have to worry about anything like that. Tonight was new years eve and Kyrie and her sisters had planned to celebrate the new year with their close friends and family.

And so our story begins on that cold night in December, where we find Kyrie and Kelly in the small kitchen of their home, making up a special dinner for themselves, their sister, Kyrie's grandfather and a couple friends they had invited to come over for the New Year.
