Chapter 15: The Unison Raid

"You burnt it off?" He questioned with disbelief as Natsu chucked, lifting his hand up towards Sting he lit 'Come On' upon his hand. "I'm not as pathetic as you think. This battle is between me and you, Sting." Natsu challenged as determination and confidence lit the fire within his once stone cold eyes.

3rd Person

"You want a battle Dragneel? Then your going to get one, I've been waiting for too long," Sting chuckled as the two injured pirates circled each other like vultures.

"Tell me who pushed me off the crows nest Sting!" Natsu demanded as he lunged into Sting with his fist engulfed in a magnificent but horrific flame that burnt the air around it, Sting dodged and sent his fist into a stumbling Natsu's chest, making him choke on impact.
"Oh," Sting chuckled and he rammed his fist harder and focusing his magic power into Natsu's chest making the fire dragon slayer cough blood from the pain, "that would have been my good friend Lector. I wanted him to end you. Ohhhh well, I'll just have to do it myself."

With that Natsu bit his tongue and grabbed Stings arm, pulling him hard he propelled his flamed leg into Sting sending him backwards against the side of the ship. "I've had enough of your crap, it's gone on for long enough," Natsu yelled as he limped over to the white dragon slayer. With his hand covered in fire he picked up a sword and headed for Sting. Pulling his arm back he built up the energy, flames whipped around the bloody blade as he released the energy. The sword flew through the ashy air as it made its way to a subconscious Sting.

But something got in the way...

Rogue

Natsu's POV

Oh for fucks sake, my body can't take much more of this, I thought to myself as the pain intensified through my defenseless body. This needs to end now, the next attack I make will be the last! "Oh Natsu, did you forget about me," Rouge teased as Sting stood beside his friend, with the sword blade in his hand.
"Let's finish him Rogue," Rogue nodded in response to his captain as the two began to create their unison raid, oh great, I thought to myself as I lengthened the distance between me and the dragon slayers, then I broke into my final battle stance. "Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang!!" They yelled in unison as the light and the dark merged together as the two created unimaginable magic energy.

Quickly, I glanced back at Lucy. Her delicate eyes shredded tears, I sent her a reassuring smile as I then glanced at the rest of the crew who had already finished their fight and held Sabertooth's crew to the ground as some watched my on going battle in pain and worry.

The dragon slayers unleashed their attack. Scorching the deck beneath them. This was it.

Lucy's POV

The attack was just about to hit Natsu, but all of a sudden a burst of light and fire ripped threw the dust and thick air. "Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!!" Was yelled by its creator as a shape almost like a Phoenix launched into the air and into the opposition. Smoke then replenished the air as it fell silent.

"Natsu!!" Yelling, I ran to him. Pain enclosed over my body, but I battled on. I needed to see if he's alright. As I got closer towards him I noticed Sting and Rogue out cold on the floor. But then pink hair demolished the smoke around it, joy filled me from the bottom to top. He then slowly looked into my direction. His eyes held nothing, his body, limp. As if in slow motion, his body plummeted to the broken ground as he muttered my name, "Lucy..."
