And We Meet Again...

Chapter 8

Gabs's P.O.V.
"But nee-chan! He started it..." I said, but Diane simply sighs and pours water over my head and continues to scrub it trying to get rid of the last bit of food out of my hair. As you could see, my little prank on Ciel escalated rather quickly...

<<FLASHBACK>>
Third Person P.O.V.

"Oh it's on Gabs..." Ciel mutters with a playful smirk watching Gabs laugh a bit. He then gets some whipped cream himself and flicks it onto Gabs. As Gabs is giggling she gasps feeling the whipped cream land across her face.

"Oh it's on Phantomhive..." She mumbles getting a handful of cake from the platter and prepares to launch it at him. "REVENGE!!!!!" She exclaims as the huge chunk of cake lands right on Ciel's face, causing the servants watching them from afar to gasp in shock.

"I can't believe she just did that...." Finny says as his eyes are widen in complete shock.

"Especially to the young master...."
Mey-rin adds in just as astonished as Finny was.

"This isn't going to turn out so good..." Bardroy mutters while Tanaka is behind the three of them sipping his green tea.

"Ho, ho, ho..."

Diane sighs as she comes back down with her cleaning gear. "Alright now all I have to do is to wait until they finish...."

Suddenly Gabs's voice can be heard from a distance. Diane becomes alarmed and rushes into the dining hall where her scream can heard from. "Gabs! Are you al- Oh my gosh, what happened here?!?!" She exclaims seeing the mess that was made all over the dining room.

Food was thrown all over the floor and covered some of the walls and appeared to be thrown at the ceiling as well.  The site made Diane quite annoyed, seeing that she will have to clean up the entire mess before her. However, she ignored the mess at the moment as she noticed Ciel was about to pour an entire bowl full of chocolate pudding all over Gabs, who was restrained from moving.

"Gah! No don't do it!!! Please have mercy on me!!!" Gabs cries out innocently hoping Ciel would stop the food fight.

Ciel smirks as he chuckles a bit and is about to pour he chocolate pudding all over her. "Any last words, Miss Gabs?" Before anything else could happen, the bowl was taking away from Ciel and Gabs was released.

"Dinner time is over..." Diane growls a bit in annoyance causing Ciel and Gabs to get nervous. Simultaneously they point at each other and yell, "HE/SHE STARTED IT!"

Diane facepalms and sighs as she picks up Gabs, carrying her to the bathroom. "Good night young master. I will make sure to clean the mess up as soon as I finish cleaning Gabs."

"Don't worry I will handle this mess Miss Diane." Sebastian already appears at the scene and looks at Ciel. "As for you, young master, I believe it's time to retire for tonight."
Ciel growls in annoyance but gets up nonetheless.

"Very well then..." he grumbles as he goes upstairs. As he is about to enter his bedroom he notices Diane taking Gabs to the guest room right across from him.

'Goodnight Gabs..." he thinks to himself before going to bed.

Gabs's P.O.V.

"Really?" Diane says sarcastically not believing what I had just said. "Then just out curiosity, why did you secretly get whipped cream on your fingers when the young master wasn't looking?"

"Because... I really like whipped cream!!! And I realized how rude it is to lick your fingers at the table so I didn't know where to wipe them hehe..." I said quickly hoping she didn't notice my lame excuse.

"Yeah, yeah.... sure..." she says sarcastically not believing me and pours water over my head.

"Oh come on sis, it wasn't even that bad..."

"Gabs the  place looked worse than the time Bard used a flamethrower to cook the young master's meal." She said with a deadpanned expression. 

"A... flamethrower?" I questioned, wondering how someone could cook with such a weapon. However, Diane continued on with her tirade.

"You even got food on the ceiling! How did the food even get there?!"

"W-well my trajectory skills weren't up to par hehe ^^' " I said a bit nervously seeing Diane's angered state.

"Eep! Sissy! ><" I exclaim feeling the cold water poured over me.

"I'm sorry nee-sama, but you shouldn't have started the food fight in the first place. Because of that I didn't have enough time to draw a warm bath on time." With that she splashes some more water over me, causing me to shiver a bit. She then dries me up and dresses me with what seemed like nightwear.

"Eh? Wait a minute I can't sleep over here! They only wanted me to stay for dinner!"

"It's alright nee-sama. I had spoken with the master Ciel earlier and he told me to let you stay in for the night."

"B-but, what about our things? And the performances for tomorrow morning?" I suddenly begin to calm down and begin to feel sleepy all of a sudden as Diane carries me to the bed I woke up in.

"Don't worry about those things sis, we are in a much safer place.~" She says calmly and I feel her kiss my forehead as I feel myself get tucked in the covers of the bed.

Diane's P.O.V.

"B-but I... need to... work..." I hear Gabs say still a bit worried about staying here. I giggled a bit seeing her getting sleepier and sighed knowing she constantly worries about making a living for the both of us. I know that she cares a lot, but it should be my responsibility to take care of her as well as myself. So, I simply just finish tucking in her bed and turned off the lights on the nightstand table beside her. In an instant, she fell asleep.

"Don't worry sis, you're new job and life will begin tomorrow..."

With that, I left her bedroom and said goodnight to the others before I went to bed myself. As I finally jump into bed and close my eyes My mind keeps replaying the same thought over and over again: Tomorrow will be a new day.
