Diane's P.O.V.
"This is it." I said as we arrived at an abandoned looking shrine. Ciel looked around the area in a puzzled manner. Amongst the stone walls and old, faded tapestries that surrounded a desolate pew that looked as if it had once been used to hold gatherings, there appeared to be three stained glass windows: two depicting strange symbols on the left and right side, and an angel in the middle.
"This is the place that we came for to find Gabs?" Ciel asked a bit doubtful about the shrine seeing it didn't look like place for angels.
"Yes," I replied confidently, "this place creates the link between our land and theirs." I notice Sebastian looking at a large book that had left upon the altar.
"This is rather interesting..." I hear Sebastian mutter.
"What is it Sebastian?" Ciel asks going to Sebastian, who has the book open right in the middle where it illustrates the altar we are standing in.
"It's the altar..." I said looking at the image in the book and I notice something written in archaic language and lean over to get a better look at it. "'He who enters pure and clean, shall be the one we set free...' Huh, I wonder what that means..." suddenly we feel vibrations throughout the room and a blinding light shines through the middle stained glass window like a portal of some sort.
"What is this?" Ciel sees the bright light curiously, but I take his wrist. I notice the book that fell and see the image of the same source of light drawn on its pages indicating a portal.
"It's a portal young master, we need to through it now before it closes!" I said, allowing Sebastian to carry Ciel as we quickly run in our demonic speed and jump towards the circle of light just before it closes up.
Gabs's P.O.V.
I was deep in sleep when I felt someone tap me causing me to turn the other side so I could get some more sleep. Suddenly I feel the person stop and I relax again.
"She's still deep asleep." I hear a voice say.
"That's strange... it couldn't have knocked her out this badly..." I heard another voice reply and I feel something touching my cheek causing me to groan a bit and wake up drowsily.
"Mph... w-what happened?" I asked still feeling a bit drowsy as I noticed that Ash and Angela were in my room.
"Finally you're awake! We were getting worried." Ash said hugging me tightly making me blush slightly from the sudden contact.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked a bit worried.
"About ten hours," Angela replies, and my eyes widened a bit in shock. "I guess the milk did the trick." she added with a slight chuckle. I then remembered what happened last night.
"Oh yeah I guess so hehe..." suddenly I felt a slight pain in my upper back. *Why is my back so sore?* I thought to myself but then shrugged it off. I probably slept in a strange position.
"Well now that you're awake I was planning to take you with me around town once you've had lunch." Angela mentions casually and I perk up a bit. Finally something I can do outside this house!
"Is Ash coming with us too?" I ask a bit curiously, since I never see him leave the house.
"Sure. He can come with us if he wants to." Angela replies and I look at Ash for a response.
"I'll go with you." He replies with a smile and I smile a bit too. Maybe it isn't too bad staying around this place with them for a while longer.
"Alright then, let's get ready." Angela tells me grabbing me by the hand. After being bathed, dressed, and fed, I head out with Angela and Ash to the town. As we walked outside, I could see children playing in an open field picking flowers and playing with different types of animals. One thing that surprised me the most was a small child, about 5 or 6 years old, was happily playing with a large lion and the lion didn't mind at all. I couldn't help but watch them curiously.
