Chapter 13

Sebastian's P.O.V.

As soon as I left the young master with his fiancée, I walked directly to Diane's room.  Something doesn't seem right about what happened to Miss Gabs. She wouldn't just disappear right before a meal with the young master. Within a minute I appear in front of Diane's bedroom and knock on the door. The door opens to reveal Miss Diane herself.

"Sebastian? W-what are you doing here?" She asks as I step in.

Without hesitation I reply, "Miss Gabs needs you."

Diane's P.O.V.

When I heard those words I quickly left to find Gabs. Something must have happened to her with Lizzie. I can sense it. Using my cat-like senses I tried to trace her scent and I managed to find it down the hallway. 'Okay that's weird I thought she was talking with Lizzie in the living room...' I thought to myself as I followed her scent.  'Where could she have gone?' Suddenly I catch a strong smell of her scent in the bathroom.  A little confused I come closer to the bathroom door and I hear some sniffling.  Wait... Gabs is crying!!! But who could've made her... Oh no... this is not going to happen, no one messes with my little Gabs! Without hesitating I busted the door open to see Gabs sniffling and a bit bruised up on her upper left cheek. Oh no... "Nee-sama!" I gasped in shock seeing her current state and rushed up to her checking her wound. "What on earth happened to you?!" Asked my voice full of worry and concern. Gabs seemed hurt and terrified at the same time. I could see the pain and fear in her eyes.

However she avoided my eyes and said shakily, "I-it's nothing n-nee-chan... I-I'm okay..." I notice she is holding onto her waist in a strange way... hm...

"Nee-chan please let me see something..." before she could protest I checked her waist and see a huge bruise on the left side of her waist. I couldn't help but growl in fury, "WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!" Gabs jumped a bit at my sudden outburst.

She nervously replied, "n-no one..." I sighed feeling a bit sad and frustrated that she wasn't telling me the truth. However I simply kneeled down to where she was curled up at and I look softly into her eyes.

"Nee-sama I can tell you're trying to avoid telling me the truth. I can't help you if you won't tell me what's wrong... now, who has been hurting you? I can see the bruises on your cheek and on your waist..." I said with my eyes threatening to spill their tears. Never in my life have I seen Gabs so scared, and the scarier part is that she does not have the courage to tell me what is going on. It's really hurting me that she's hiding the truth.

"I-I can't... s-she'll only do something worse if she finds out I told you..." Gabs says quietly.  Suddenly I get what she is saying and my anger level rises to a dangerous level as my eye color changes.

"S-sis..." I look to see gabs frightened by my angered state.  However I managed to talk calmly with her as I said in a sweet tone "Don't worry nee-sama I will make sure that nothing happens to you. Now let me tend to your wounds so you have lunch with Mey-Rin and the others...~"

"B-but wait m-master Ciel wanted me to-"

"I know but I think it will be better that you ate with us today, so don't worry I will explain everything to him." Gabs hesitates debating whether to stop resisting or not.  Finally she just sighs and relaxes.

"O-ok nee-chan... but please don't say anything about her hurting me... I-I don't want to know what happens next..."

"Don't worry nee-sama.... I promise no one will hurt you ever again~" I said as I kissed her forehead and help her up.  I managed to take her where the other servants are and get some ice to ice her waist and her cheek.  From there I left her resting with the other servants and told them to make her some lunch.  Then I headed onward to where my master was and see him talking with Lizzie.

"Young master I need to speak with you..." I said trying to sound polite but I couldn't help myself glaring at the girl who dared to hit Gabs.  She noticed my glare and is frozen a bit in her seat looking a bit shocked.

"Can this wait for a moment Diane? I trying to talk with Lizzie about-"

"Young master this cannot wait! Gabs has been hurt and she cannot move properly." I seethed a bit in annoyance, causing him to jump a bit in shock.  Hearing the name Gabs must have caused him to get up quickly.

"I'm sorry Lizzie but I need to see what's wrong..." he apologizes to the blonde haired girl as he quickly goes to find Gabs.  Before I could go back inside the house the little brat decided to stop me.

"How did you find out?" She hissed glaring at me in fury. This girl is getting on my last nerve I swear.  I growled back her and spat out, "I am not retarded I can clearly see the bruises you left on her body! You didn't even attempt to cover them up, how stupid..." that comment must have her ticked off since I felt a slight sting on my cheek from where she slapped me.  I looked at her incredulously.  Seriously? Was that the most she could do?

"Listen to me you piece of trash! Ciel is MY fiancé! That little brat is never going to win him over me got it?!" She screeched in her whiny, high-pitched voice. That last part angered me the most. Enraged I picked her up by the collar not caring who she is or what she is capable of doing. I could care less of losing my job at this point. I held her against the wall with a deadly look in my eyes.

"Now you listen to me you filthy-mouthed twit, my sister can like whoever she likes and you are not going to destroy her life because of that! Even if she liked Ciel she wouldn't try to sabotage his relationship with other people because she cares about others unlike you... so don't even try to lay another finger on her because if not I will make sure to hunt you down and make you regret ever coming here in the first place..." As I said that my eyes glowed a dangerous red color causing making her shut up instantly.  I put her down as I still glared at her. "Now clean up your act and stay away from my sister or else..." I growled and she quickly got up.

"Y-yes m-ma'am!" She says a bit panicked and runs out the door not wanting to be with me another second.  I sigh as I see her run out of the room.

*I promise I will always protect you no matter what nee-sama...* I thought to myself as I walk out to check on Gabs.
