Diane's P.O.V.
"Wait, you want me to what?!"
"Like I had said before, I need your help to convince the young girl to come to the manor to meet the young master."
I sighed as I looked at Sebastian warily. "I'm not too sure about this Sebastian... I mean, she gets really nervous around strangers and she feels like she needs to take care of herself. Besides, she doesn't exactly know that I'm working at the residence yet..."
*or much less that I'm her caretaker...* I thought to myself feeling a bit guilty.
"Well maybe now is a good time to tell her Miss Diane; you can't keep the truth from her forever. Besides, she will finally have a real home and will get a chance to start a new life in the Phantomhive residence. It must be better than where she is at now."
"Hm....... Well.... You may be right actually...." I pondered at what Sebastian said. "I mean I can't allow her to be living like this for the rest of her life. It is my sole responsibility to take care of her and make sure no harm comes to her or her soul. That's why Dad had chosen me to be her guardian."
Now I know what you may be thinking, but I had a good reason not to tell her yet! My dad, well adoptive dad, is actually Satan... And since I am his adopted demon daughter he thought it was best for me to work with humans rather than dealing with things in the Underworld. He and my adoptive mom, Death, thought it was too dangerous for their precious daughter to be dealing with the creatures that live there. So now I have become a permanent caretaker for Gabs. But, as one of the many rules and regulations I have as her guardian, I must wait to tell her that the truth. Otherwise it will be harder for her to trust me, especially once she has seen my true form...
"Well if that's so, let's try to bring her to the manor alright?"
"Alright Sebastian," I sigh as I finally give in, "let's go."
