Gabs's P.O.V.

I groan as I wake up from my unexpected sleep. I look up dizzily to find myself in a lavish-looking bedroom and laying on a huge King-sized bed.

"Huh? Where am I?"

As I pondered about my new surroundings, the bedroom door opened to reveal a red-headed maid who wore big round glasses. I jumped up a little startled as she came to see me.

"Oh! I'm terribly sorry miss! I didn't realize Miss Diane had placed you in this room..."

*Wait, Diane? Why would Diane be here?*

"U-um I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude but, who are you and how do you know about my sister?"

"Sister?! I didn't know Miss Diane had a sister, she never told us about it..." The redhead continued to ramble off as I just watched her waiting for an answer. Finally she notices my presence and snaps out of it.

"Oh gosh I'm so sorry miss! You did ask me a question didn't you?"

"U-um yes," I reminded her a bit awkwardly, "I haven't quite gotten your name yet and I wanted to know how you knew my sister..."

"Oh that's right! Where are my manners? My name is Mey-Rin I'm one of the maids serving the Phantomhive manor. As you are wondering about Miss Diane, she is a maid for the young master as well." She answered with a cheery smile while my eyes widen slightly in shock.

*Wait she works for him?! Why didn't she ever tell me before?!?!*

A thousand questions began to form in my mind until Mey-Rin snaps me out of my thoughts by helping me out of the bed and handing me a fancy looking dress.

"Oh by the way the young master wanted us to help you change into this dress for dinner tonight." She says as she takes my hand taking me to the bathroom.

"O-oh no it's alright I-I really shouldn't intrude... Besides I've had some bread to eat so it's alright..."

"Oh no miss it's alright... My young master insists that you stay for dinner. Please let us help you get dressed... Just come and enjoy your stay ^^"

Before I could say anything else she drags me into the bathroom with her and helps undress me and Diane appears with what looks like a corset to put on before the dress. It appeared to have various laces that tied at the back. I flinched at the sight of it knowing this would definitely be uncomfortable. I was about to say something to retaliate, but I then I remembered how angry I was at her for not telling me the truth, so I turned my back on her about to leave the room.

"I'm out." I say walking away until Diane runs in an incredible speed shutting the bathroom door. She kneels down before me and bows.

"Please forgive me nee-sama."

"Why should I?" I snapped a bit causing her to jump in shock, "You are the one keeping secrets from me!"

Diane's P.O.V.

I was at loss for words.

Never have I seen nee-sama this angry in my entire life. However, she had every right to be; I never did tell her about my job at the manor, much less my real job of being her caretaker from the Underworld. But I was ordered to wait to tell her about these things.

She needs to be old enough to understand why things are the way they are, if not she will be so scared after seeing my true form for the first time that she will stop trusting me altogether. So I have to wait to tell her the truth at the right time.

But I'm afraid that I do not have much time left on my hands to do so.

I sigh as I now my head down in shame, "Please nee-sama, please at least stay for dinner, bocchan was really looking forward to seeing you at the manor tonight and if you leave he will be very disappointed..."

"I'm sorry Diane but I can't..." Gabs replies a bit angrily turning away.

Wait, she never uses my real name unless it's serious...

"It's not like I really belong here anyway, I will just be another burden..." she says in a monotone voice about to open the door once more but in my demonic speed I stop her. For once I feel a strange feeling in my chest... Could it possibly be.... A heart beat? No, no it can't be.... I stopped feeling emotions for a very long time now... Ever since I worked for Satan in the Underworld... But I tried to ignore the strange sensation in my chest as I begin to speak up,

"Please sis, I promise I will tell you the whole truth after the meal..."

Finally she paused and her eyes widen a bit seeing me shaking slightly.

For once, in a very long time, I began to feel, very slightly, an emotion that I thought I would never experience again: sadness.

Gabs's P.O.V.

I froze as Diane said those words and I turned around to see her... Crying?

"S-sis?" I ask, now completely forgetting my anger I once held torwards her.

"P-please nee-sama... I beg of you.... Please don't leave... I-I promise I will tell you everything once dinner is over..." She looks at me with pure hope in her eyes, "please there is a reason behind all of these secrets... I promise I won't hide them anymore..."

I stood there pondering about how I should respond. Should I go, or should I stay?

As I kept on thinking between my two choices, I sigh a bit sadly noticing the pained expression in her eyes... I really don't want to ruin our friendship, especially since we have shared so many good memories together. This situation must have made her truly upset considering I've never seen her cry before.

As a result I came to my final decision.

"Alright I will stay for tonight," with this response, she sighs in relief, "but you must keep your promise and tell me everything about the secrets that you have been hiding right after. I must never find out anymore about you keeping the truth from me, understood?" I look at Diane straight in the eyes. Without hesitation she smiles gently and bows respectfully, "Hai, I shall never keep a secret from you ever again nee-sama~" she purrs a bit as I giggle a bit feeling slightly better and smile gently.

"Alright sis, let's get ready for dinner then."

"Of course, nee-sama."
