Narushika & series 2 (one shot)

chapter 18

- naru pov -

*** time skip (3 mths) ***

** flash back/dream ***

"hey naruto, how was your day?" sakura asks brightly when i walk in the door, she's dong her nails with ino
"it was good thanks" i reply as i walk past her room into the kitchen

"oh hun, dinner's almost ready you were out late today" mebuki says
"yea sorry mebuki"
"don't worry about it, sasuke's in the room"
"ok i'll go say hi" i walk into out room "hey sasuke"
"hey, what did you do?"
"we just hung out"
"school work?" (code for drugs/sex)
"NO!!"
"just asking"
"anyway dinner's almost -"
"boys, dinner's ready" fugaku says and he walks out
"perfect" sasuke says and jumps off the top bunk
i walk back into the kitchen "i have some people here can they stay for dinner?"
"of course" mebuki replies

shikamaru and kushina walk in fugakus eyes widen in disbelief because he's a shinobi and so was kushina but mebuki wasn't, we all get settled "hello mebuki, fugaku" shikamaru says happily
"hello mebuki, fugaku i'm kushina" she says  "pleased to meet you"
"naruto, isn't this friend a little old?"
"hey, i'll have you know that i am not just a friend" she says but blushes when she realizes the double meaning "hehe what i mean is that i am no ordinary person to naruto" that way is no better "naruto, why don't you say this"
"nope hehe all on you mum" i tell them who she is but in a kind of secretive way but hey pick up on it

"*gasp* omg omg omg you found your real mum naruto!!! EEEK i'm so excited for you" she squeals
"good job" sasuke says with his ever present poker face but his eyes show real happiness
"oh hon - uh, naruto that's great but i'm assuming that you're not staying here"
"yes, good for you but kushina... interesting. we were told you were killed" fugaku says

"yea, i was told naruto died so i moved to the hidden sand, but we I've missed my baby and i was just coming here to meet his foster parents and give some fore warning that i wish for naruto to move in with me"
"it seems only fair that he will live with you, you and him are blood relations he will pack his stuff and he will move out tomorrow" mebuki says, taking all our plates to the sink 

"thank you mebuki, i really appreciate it" kushina says and bows to mebuki "come naruto, lets go pack your stuff" mum says and pushes me down the hall, i grab shikas hand and drag him with us

*** flash back/dream end ***

"it's early" i say groaning and rolling around in my bed
"i agree" shikamaru says from the bunk below, we're staying in his room and mum's in his parents room
"yay, time for school you two" kushina says excitedly flicking a wooden spoon around "I've got breakfast ready so get dressed and come eat" she hurries out the door

"man our mum is the best ever" shika sighs
"yea i know, i feel almost complete now, i was 2 quarters and i found a quarter but the last is lost forever" i yawn then jump from the bunk "we'd best be getting ready, angry mum isn't good" 
"yea i guess" he agrees and gets up, we get dressed then head to the kitchen then eat our extremely burnt eggs and orange juice, it's bad but tastes ok because we know that mum tried really hard to be good for us

"you can't be late on your first day!" she says angrily as she pushes me out the door and does the same for shika
"it's not our first day though" he says
"first day for me" she retorts sharply, smiles "have a good day" she waves as we leave,
"bye mum" i kiss her cheek and run to catch up to shika, kurama's purring he likes having people around who are close to him

"now let's go to school" i say and kiss shika, he kisses me back then i run away "coming?"
"yea" he smirks and chases after me.
