"Maya...what are you doing here?"

"Its a party! I came with my friends." just then i felt someone wrap their arm around my waist. It was Max

"Hey Hart, are those people bothering you?" Cj said as her and Sarah walked up next to me.

"No they were just saying hello...now if they would excuse me i need a drink." i said taking Max's hand and heading towards the kitchen.

Lucas POV

Her friends? We are her friends! Why cant she see that! I watched as she left with Max.

"Friar! Stay away from Maya!" Carla said coming towards me.

"Why should I?"

"Because you left! You didnt chose her. And you just expect her to come back to you like you did nothing wrong!" Sarah said yelling.

"I-i just-"

"Stay away from her or you'll answer to us!" Carla said inches away from me, staring me straight in my face.

They pushed passed me almost causing me to fall over by Zay stood me up.

"Dude you ready need to stop!"

"What why would you say that?"

"Lucas its been 2 months since you've seen Maya and she isnt the same as before. None of are!"

I was getting tried of people telling me what to do.

Maya POV

I got into the kitchen and grabed the first bottle i saw.

"Maya!Stop!" Max said taking the bottle away from me.

"What the hell! You drink all the time! Why does it matter if i do." he stood speechless and i took the bottle back. I started drinking it and i felt alittle better.

I started walking back towards to dance floor. I was so drunk i guess i started dancing and jumping around. Max later joined me and we started dancing again but closer this time. I felt like someone was staring at me but i didnt care.

Lucas POV

Maya got really drunk and started dancing with random people. Then the worst of it all she danced with Max and they danced really close together. I started getting angry, i dont know What came over me i couldnt see this anymore.

"Maya!!"

She turned to me and grined

"What do you want huckleberry? You wanna dance well get in line." she slurred taking another slip of her drink.

"Maya this isnt you why are you doing this?"

"Wow huckleberry are you really that clueless! Well i guess you are." she laugh, "Go back to your princess Riley! I dont need you!." She glared at me, grinning weirdly.

"Come on babe, lets go!" Max said taking Maya away.

I was speechless..Was Maya really changed? I dont know what to do anymore. I think i losted her.

*next day*

Maya POV

My head hurt

Like really hurt! I saw that i was still wearing my clothes from last night. Ughh what did i do. I realized i wasnt in my bed.

"Maya are you awake?" Sarah said walking into the room

"Yea! What happened last night?"

Sarah sit down next to me and handed me coffee. "Well you saw Lucas and you were upset so you drank alot. Then you started dancing with random guys then grinding with Max, who was also drunk-"

"I what?!"

"Yea! But it was pretty hot...anyway Lucas got mad and you told him off and then we all left."

"Woah! Ughhh why did this happen!" i said leaning back on the bed.

"Come on Maya at least you have us now and we treat you like family. Expect for Max he sees you as his and in his dream he sees-" i hit her with the pillow. "Hey its true! He really likes you."

"I like him too.." i said in deep thought. I turned and i saw it was 10 am.

"Oh my God im so dead!"

"Maya whats wrong?"

"My step dad he's gonna freak that i didnt come home!"

"Maya its okay just ran there now!"

I ran out the door. I was so dead i wasnt going to be able to cover up whats coming when i get home. I opened the front door and saw my mom on the floor.

"MOM!" i yelled running over to her. "Mom! Hey wake up!" i felt for a pluse, luckly i felt one and signed with relief.

"MAYA!"

No no no! I was paralyzed in fear of getting beat again.

"Where the hell were YOU!" i couldn't get a word out of mouth i was so scared. He punched me in my stomach, i bent over in pain. He kept yelling at me and hitting me. Why is this happening to me...

He picked my head up making me face him. "What am i gonna do with you?" He said staring me up and down.

WARING!!! This is going to be a very heart wrenching chapter. Remember i warned you!

He grabbed my hair and dragged me up the stairs.

"LET GO OF ME!" i started fighting back in fear of what he was going to do. "Please let me GOOO!!!" i yelled begging him to let me go but he kept dragging me God knows where. He opened a door and saw it was the basement. "Where are you taking me."

"God do you EVER SHUT UP!" he said pushing me into the room.

"Let me out of here!"

He grabbed me and carried me to a secret room with a bed.

"No! NO NO NOOOOO!" i scearmed and cried i had to get out of here. He pinned me against the wall.

"SHUT UP!" i cried and cried i couldnt believe this was happening. "NOW do what i say and you wont get hurt." i nodded still crying.
