"Maya I-I"
"DONT....dont say it again please!" Maya said backing away from him again.
"I cant lie about this anymore.." Lucas walked closer to Maya, "Im in love with you, Maya.. I cant hide it anymore. I kills me to see you with him and after tonight you probably never want to see me again but that doesnt change the fact that Im in love with you..."
Maya stood frozen, she didnt know what to say. "You dont love me..." Lucas at her confusedly, "You cant love me Huckleberry...Im not the person you should love." then she walked away.
Lucas POV
"So thats it?"
"Lucas that how it is"
"NO! No i wont accept that...im not letting you go Maya. Im not stepping back and you shouldnt either."
Maya shook her head, "i cant...Goodbye Lucas." Then she was gone.
I keep losing her...why cant she see that i care about her, i love her.

Maya POV
i ran and ran, why would he tell me that. It started raining, which helped covering my tears.
I made it home and i was soaked. I shut the door behind me. "MAYA!"
No no please not tonight
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" my step dad yelled as i standing next to the door.
"I-i was at school...i had a homework thing to do" i didnt look at him.
"WELL at least your worthless ass can do something! Wheres your mother?!"
"I dont know..." just then my mother walked in. "Mom.."
"Hey baby girl...Mark? What are you doing home."
"You were suppose to be home an hour ago! Where were you!"
"I had to close up, so i had to wait an extra hour."
"So that Topanga Bi-"
"DONT CALL HER THAT!" i finally yelled. Oh no
"What did you just say?" he spoke stern.
"You hear ME! Dont ever talk ABOUT HER LIKE THAT! Just shut your damn mouth and drown yourself in a bottle!"
He slapped me, but stayed standing there. Glaring at him
"Maya stop-"
"NO MOM! Im sick of him hitting us and calling us names. Im not afraid anymore..." He grabbed my mom, "NO LEAVE HER ALONE!"
"Look who's scared now!" i stayed shut and he just laughed.
"Just take me..."
"Maya-" my mom said coming towards me.
"No...i can handle it promise. Dont worry about me just stay away. Please!"
