Ok Fair Warning! This chapter is pretty lovey dovey but its much needed after the drama. Some heart full moments and big things coming up.

Maya Pov

I feel bad that i basically push Lucas away. Well literary this time.

I slowly wake to Lucas staring at me, "You know Huckleberry its not polite to stare." i groan as my eyes adjusts to the morning. "How long have you been wake?"

"Sorry and i dont know i just been thinking."

"About what?"

"You..."

I took a deep breath, "okay..." i got up and started walking to the bathroom.

I look at myself in the mirror and i have terrible bed head. I brush my teeth and comb this thing on my head. When i come out the bathroom Lucas is still where i left him.

"Are you gonna get up Huckleberry? Or are you too lazy?"  He stares at me weirdly. "Ok if your gonna keep staring at me im just gonna leave." i say laughing.

"I just like staring at you...is that a bad thing?" Lucas says sitting at the edge of the bed.

"No...just weird i guess." i walk over to him. "Hey...im sorry about last night."

He looks up at me and motions for me to sit. I sit on his lap and look in his eyes. He kisses me, "you dont need to keep apologize here..i get it. I just wanna be with you."

"Me too." i mess with his hair and he  scrunches his nose. "I love you...just know that."

"I do...why did you say the same thing on New years. It was like you were never gonna see me again?"

I take a deep breath, "i said that cause i wanted you to know i loved you before something bad happened...i didnt go home like i was suppose to and on new years i had to. And i knew when i did it was gonna be hell, so i wanted to tell you i loved you before everything went bad again."

"So that night...he beat you." i nodded. "Why didnt you just run away like you did now?"

"I had to distract him while Shawn hides my mom. And when i couldnt do it anymore i left, mostly cause the Matthews found out and made me stay with them."

"You could've went with Shawn."

I shook my head, "No he already threaten anyone i knew especially Shawn and the Matthews. Thats why i broke up with you.... cause if he found out about you...i couldnt watch you get hurt." i stumbled on my words.

"You know i could handled myself Maya. I just want you safe...."

He leaned his head against mine, "He...he didnt only beat me...." i said hesitantly. He looked at me confused. "At first yea he would beat me and he also called me names and would hurt my mom if i fought back. One day my mom wasnt home and he...he forced me..." i see a tear coming down Lucas's cheek.

"You d-dont have to say it." i wipped the tear off his face.

"I do...I cant hide it anymore. I want to be honest with you...he forced me to have sex with him." tears were daring to fall, "And i fought him with everything in me but that wasnt enough...so after that it became a frequent thing and when i refused he would rape my mom or beat her. So i had to..." Lucas hugged me tight. I hugged back instantly. "Im sorry." i sobbed.
