Maya shut her eyes tight, "stop stop stop." she held her head in her hands. "Your gonna be okay Lucas...you have to be"

I killed somone how is that ever gonna be okay?! Im sorry

Tears were spilling from Maya's eyes as everything flashed in her mind. "Its okay...its okay." she whispered to herself.

"Maya?!" Maya heard Riley say. She stood up slowly and Riley give her a hug. "Maya what happened? Are you okay!"

Maya nodded not breaking away from Riley. "No im not okay...Lucas got hurt and its all my fault." she sobbed into Riley's shoulder.

"Maya this isnt your fault! Okay?" Maya just shook her head no. Riley then pulled away from Maya and looked at her. "Look at me...this is NOT your fault, okay! Lucas will be fine and Mark is going to jail."

A heavy weight hit Maya's chest as she her that. He's dead...

"Riley...Mark isnt going to jail...." Riley looked at her confused and so did everyone else. "He's dead"

"What do you mean he's dead.." Riley said carefully. Everyone soon surrounded her listening closely.

"There was a struggle...Mark stabbed Lucas and then the gun went off...Lucas shot him." Maya tears started falling as she remembered. Everyone was in shock at what happened. Lucas did something he would never do to protect Maya and himself.

Zay walked up to Maya, "Maya, it will be okay...Lucas will forgive himself and you should too." Maya nodded.

"Excuse me?" a man in a lab coat said. They all turned to him, "Are you guys here for Mr. Friar?"

We all nodded, "Yes yea we are...how is he?" Maya says wiping her tears away.

"We were able to stop to bleeding and luckily the stab wound didnt hit any dangerous areas." the doctors explains.

"Then why did he pass out?"

"Mostly from shock and the stress of the situation. You dont have to worry about a thing Miss..."

"Hart, Maya Hart"

"Miss. Hart, Mr. Friar is stable. You all can see if you would like." We nod as the doctor leaves.

"Did you hear that Maya! Lucas is gonna be okay!" Riley says holding Maya's hand.

"Maya you should go see him.." Zay states.

"No...Mrs. Friar you should see him and you Zay he's your best friend."

They shake their heads no, "Maya honey, you should see him. He would want to see you and to know your okay. We will visit later but for now go spend time with him." Mrs. Friar says walking closer to Maya.

"Okay...thank you."
