It’s a sh*tty thing
"I'm still sleepy."
"What time did you go to bed?"
She yawned and looked at me with her panda face, "I don't know. We're practically not allowed to bring our phones in this 'trip'."
"The teachers confiscated it." Dan added.
Marielle shrugged and yawned again with her hand on her mouth, covering it. "I can't wait for this sh*t to get over."
"Snappy already, in early morning?" I said, the corners of my lips lifting slightly.
She glared at me and did the shoulder shrugging thing again, "I can't stand you sh*ts any longer."
"The feeling's mutual." Nate added while getting out of his tent. "I can't stand your sh*-"
"Guys! Please, no sh*tty words, please." I said before Nate can complete his sentence -though that won't make any difference- while Dan just face palmed at the both of them.
Even I can't decide what to do with this two.
"Good morning guys! It's a sh*tty morn-" I glared at Lily before she can even complete her sentence. She just giggled and settled at the sit next to Marielle. Disappointment surfaced within me. Is it because I glared at her? Wow, I'm paranoid and crazy than I even thought. I'm quite disappointed at myself.
After that sh*- I mean talk, we prepared our breakfast and ate quietly without any sh*- disturbing ... words (God, times with those two get to me). Dan and I were quite thankful as another pointless bickering between 'the lovers' didn't occur.
The food supplies that were promised were soon delivered to us. We decided to eat a heavy breakfast as we might soon continue hiking the mountains.
But I guess, life has other plans.
Let's just say we didn't get to see or experienced this trip really was for- which I'm still figuring out-.
While Nate and I were washing the dishes at some stream we found in the woods not far from our camp, Dan came running to us in what I would describe a ghost stricken face.
"G-guys ..." He panted, his hands resting on his knees that are bent. He looked at us sweating and continued, "Mr. Evans called."
Nate and I exchanged confused and ‘so what' glances at each other before returning our gaze towards Dan.
Nate asked with a bored and frustrated tone, "So? What does he want?"
If you must know, Mr. Evans, our principal (have I mentioned that?), and Nate were quite not in good terms. No. The perfect term would be, they despise each other.
Nate made the mistake on making one of his whorish ways towards Mr. Evans' daughter.
Again, I'm starting to question my friendship with this d*ck.
But truth to be told, Mr. Evans' face was quite priceless when he asked Nate what is his relationship with his daughter. 'I'm screwing her.' Was Nate's simple reply. He might not be the smartest person out there but I can't blame him; He didn't know it was Mr. Evans' daughter and the girl too made the mistake of not mentioning it.
"He ordered us to retreat and go back immediately." Dan said snapping me out of my thoughts. Retreat? What is this, a battle?
"I see that Evans' choice of words still hasn't improved." Nate said. Politeness isn't on Nate's vocabulary.
