Her hand on her hips and is matched by the annoying tapping of her foot. " Cy, where have you been?" she asked raising her eyebrows.

I scratched the back of my neck. I should have predicted this. Of course I sneaking out for a party can't be go unnoticed under the nose of mother. This woman's a freaking psychic.

"From a party." I replied with a don't-ask-further tone and immediately turned on my heels upstairs but was stopped by her of course.

"Cyrus, I'm not really mad but please, I'm not yet ready for those moving energy balls that look like my son.” she looked at me with sympathetic eyes which I returned with a face of disbelief and shock.

"Seriously mom?” I asked. "Mom, don’t worry, it's not going to happen sooner than you think." Considering I have a f*ucked up freaking love life this time.

She sighed in relief and told me the most horrible thing a mother could tell to her son. "That's good though I won't blame you if that ever happens since a party is where I met your dad. II know it screams whore that time but I'll be honest and tell you that we hit it off instantly. It's having weird having s*x in a friend's bed but it's worth it considering you're father's really good and the hittting of the bed's headboard was really loud that-"

I covered my ears and shouted in disgust, "Mom! Please, no details. I would love to catch up with your teenage love affair but please, just please leave the ... juicy details; for my sanity."

You can't blame me for this. Would you rather hear stories from you parents about their sexlife than a pot of porridge for a week? I'd have the porridge even though it's the last thing I'd want on my dinner table. Wait, why did I even think of porridge?

She just laughed out loud and I took that as my cue to leave and head to my room upstairs. It's almost four in the morning so I decided not to take a shower. Besides, school's out for the next two days though Sev called me to work today and I was expected there at nine am sharp. Only a few more hours of sleep.

Only a few more hours of sleep tile see her again though I saw her just a few hours ago. I hit the pillow on my head and groaned. Shit, did I really hit it off this time? If yes, then f*ck. I'm really messed up. And now I can't sleep, great. Just what I need before work. I thought to myself sarcastically.

I decided to think about the things about her but just imagining her face, sleeping next to me, made me fall into a sleep I've never experienced. It was such a good sleep that I almost showed up at work, late.

"Cy, I thought you're never going to show up." Sev told me while leading me to the kitchen. I know right, I'm already here for a few weeks yet, I still don't know my way there. Or you're just scared to bump into her alone. A faint voice spoke in my head though I recognize it. Ah, yes. It's mine.

"Well, as I always say, good luck." Sev said enthusiastically while beaming at me with a smile. I returned a faint smile and a nod then went to my station to start. Good luck he said. Yeah, good luck to me.

I was finished with the first order, but just the packing is left so I made my way to a door connected to 'my' kitchen to be packed by Ben. I'm only in cooking section but the packing is for Ben. I opened the door by my back since my hands are full with food.

"Sup' Ben." I greeted as I carefully place the foods I made on the metallic table. He greeted me with a nod then turned to me with a smile but soon faltered when he saw my face. Wow, I didn't know my face is that offending. Sorry Ben.

"Hey, I'm about to greet you a happy morning though I noticed your face says differently."

I touched my face after he said that. Is there something on my face? I looked at him with a confused look.
