What a drag ...
" Miss, time to wake up." I heard someone say as he closed my door just to disturb my slumber. But I didn't stir or even get up. If I want to sleep, I'll sleep. I do things my own way and follow myself and only myself.
" Miss Lily? Breakfast won't be spared." the voice continued.
Tempting. I slowly shifted and pulled off the covers from me leaving me in my nightgown and my bare thighs visible. I averted my eyes at his direction, slowly turning to reveal half of my face. Darkness is all over my room making my eyes illuminate the light, making them sightly visible in the dark.
He recognizes this look, " Yes Miss. Fresh. Breathing."
I got off my bed and faced him only to blink my eyes as a response.
" Good morning too." he said smiling to me even though I didn't greeted him. He's always like that. He thinks that even in my silence, he takes it as a response or like now, a greeting. " He's in the dining room."
I turned my back on him as he left. I really don't want to go to school today. Not today. Let's say .. always. But that's the place I usually fill myself up. Sev, keeps me on a diet as he calls it. He doesn't like the idea of me lusting for blood but that's far from possible. We live for it. No escape.
I started putting on our school uniform. I know that Sev would keep on nagging on me to go to school. And usually, once I woke up, it always means I'll go to school. Stupid agreement. I sighed as I remembered about that. Sev tricked me to this one: He was actually given 45 minutes to convince me to go to school and once he was able to, I'll go. It's unfair you know. He's good at tricking and making temptations just like what happened a while ago.
There. I thought as I buttoned the last button on my polo shirt. I fixed my red plaid skirt that reach my mid thigh. I don't know why the old woman enrolled me in such a prestigious school. I only know that she gives a shit about me socializing with those low life. She wants me to be become such a freaking butterfly or is it called, social butterfly? I groaned at the thought.
Just as I finished putting on my socks and shoes that has heels, my phone rang. I groaned again the moment I recognized the tone indicating the person who is calling. I chose accpet since there's no leave-the-girl-alone-and-shut-up button. " Hello?"
" Lily, nice to hear you again." old woman said and I can feel she's smiling since she was able to reach me now. I'm always sleeping or out and she caught me at the right time to call. Great.
" Not the same for me." I replied sarcastically while taking a long strand from my jet black wavy hair, twirling it around my fingers.
" You're so sweet. Oh, and I'm not old woman, I'm your aunt Rosalie."
" You are old." I said rolling my eyes. " For someone who has lived for over a hundred years deserves the honor, Rose."
She sighed to show her frustration instead of shouting. Well, she never shouts at my remarks. Wait, she's immune to my remarks. " It's been 3 days since you last went to school."
" So?"
" So, you go now."
" I am. You know, Sev's good at persuading." I replied, annoyed as I remembered he beat me. Stupid half blood.
" That's good. No offense dear, but why did you go to school that day? I heard you're not feeling well at that time." She said worried but then sounded happy when she continued enthusiastically, " Lovesick?"
