Chapter 34

Adrien smiled at his parents taking care of his son. "Hey Emit." Emit looked up and saw Adrien standing at the door, Marinette a little behind him. Emit stood up and ran to hid dad and Adrien bent down.

"Daddy!" Emit smiled as he hugged his dad and Adrien wrapped his arms around him. He let go and Adrien looked at the bear.

"How's Gabriel today?"

Emit smiled and held the bear up to him. "Gabriel's hungry."

"We can stop by Grandmama and Papas bakery for some food. Would he like that?" Emit held the bear to his ear and smiled and nodded. Adrien chuckled and picked up his toddler and placed him on his hip.

"Why did you leave?" Emit asked.

"Why do you ask so many questions?" Adrien chuckled.

"I'm cuwious." Adrien chuckled.

"I'll give you that. Daddy just needed to think." Adrien smiled and kissed Emits forehead and Emit smiled.

"Think about what?"

"Just a few things. Nothing bad. Wanna go get some food?" Emit tilted his head and squinted his eyes. Adrien glared at Marinette while she giggled. It's obvious that he got her stubbornness.

"You better tell him Adrien." Marinette giggled and Adrien glared at her more making her laugh more.

"Daddy! Tell me what's wrong!" Emit fussed and Adrien groaned.

"Emit, what did I tell you about whining?" Adrien said in a soft voice. He didn't want to be mean to his son, just teach him a lesson.

Emit stopped and looked at his dad. "To not do it. I'm just worried for you Daddy." Emit smiled and Adrien smiled back.

"Why do I tell you to not do it?"

"Cause it's rude. The world doesn't go around me."

"Right. If you ever see someone doing that you can tell them to stop and fix what they are whining about." Marinette smiled at him. Emit smiled back and put his head on his fathers chest. Gabriel and Amelia were impressed by this.

"Wanna get food?"

"I wants a macaroon!" Emit smiled and Adrien chuckled.

"W-we should go." Adrien nervously laughed and turned on his heels and carried Emit to the car and put him inside. Marinette got in the passenger seat and Adrien in the drivers seat. he put the key in the ignition and drove off to the bakery.

"Adrien, why don't you like your parents?" Marinette asked him while Emit played with his toys in the backseat.

"They both left me. Why should I like them?"

"They're your parents. Even if they left you they still love you. Amelia cared enough to watch you from afar and Gabriel is changing."

"If they love me so much why do they only think of themselves." Adrien gripped the steering wheel then calmed down and parked the car. They walked into the bakery and found Alya and Nino inside.

"What're you guys doing here?" Nino asked as he hugged Marinette.

"We came for a couple of pastries." Adrien smiled as Emit hugged his leg. Even though Emit lives with them, he spends more time with his grandparents or his parents. "Emit, say 'hi' to Uncle Nino and Auntie Alya."

"H-hi." Emit hesitated and hide behind Adriens leg more. Alya chuckled and bent down to him.

"Hi Emit. Want me to buy you something to eat?"
