Chapter 38

"So?!" Everyone was antsy and Adrien just smiled bigger. Emit held his hand as they walked inside. Marinette was sweating, her hair now in a messy bun and her eyes heaving. She was holding her baby and smiling.

Emit was helped onto the bed and Adrien sat on the other side. He looked at the baby, it's eyes closed. "Do I have a brother or a sister?" Now, he hoped for a sister.

"A sister." Adrien smiled and wiped the sweat off of Marinettes forehead.

"Yay!" Emit smiled. He crawled over to the baby and pulled the blanket around her down. Her raven blue hair a little wet and messy. She opened her eyes and yawned, her green eyes spreading to a light blue. "She has my eyes but dif-dif-different!" Emit cheered and Max walked over and smiled.

"She has central heterochrombia. Emit has complete, this one has central. What's her name?" He asked as he walked back over to Sabrina. She's no longer friends with Chloe and hadn't talked to her since she went to jail and with her father hating how she is, sent her away to England.

"Her name is Scarlett Eva Agreste." Marinette smiled.

"Why that?" Nino asked as Adrien held his daughter.

"Because her eyes are like the sea and those are her initials."

"What are initials?" Emit asked and Marinette giggled.

"They're the first letter of your first, middle and last name. Yours are E.L.A."

"Ela? My initials are Ella." Emit grumbled and Adrien laughed.

"Do you wanna see your sister?" Emit nodded and Adrien held Scarlett near him.

"Can I hold her?"

"You're a little to small for that but you can play with her and teach her things." Marinette sat up and Emit sat on her lap while she held Scarlett.

"Okay!" Emit smiled and the adults laughed.

Emit held up the card as Scarlett babbled in front of him. "Come on S you can do it." He called her S instead of Sea or Scarlett like everyone else. Emit was now five while Scarlett was one.

The problem was one plus one and Scarlett was nibbling on her foot. Marinette walked in and laughed. "Emit, just because she said her first word doesn't mean she can learn as fast as you did."

"But it was my name! Thats gotta mean something!" Emit groaned and fell back and Marinette laughed.

"She'll get it someday but for now, you have your first day of kindergarten to get too." Emit stood up and walked with Marinette to the car and she drove off, both children in the back and Adrien in the drivers seat. They walked into the school and to his classroom. Adrien opened the door and Emit immediately hugged his leg.

"Come on Emit you have to go to class." Adrien held his tiny hands and Emit looked at his father and pouted.

"Can I just stay with you?"

"Sorry but no, now please, go to class and make, one friend. Can you do that? Make one friend?"

"Yeah. Bye bye." Emit waved off his parents as they left the room and he turned around to his new classmates who were all looking at him, even his teacher who was at least in her mid twenties like Adrien and Marinette. They were twenty three while she was twenty four.

"Is your dad Adrien Agreste?" Emit nodded. He knew his parents names while normal kids would only know them as Mom and Dad. "Is your dad married?"
