"Lazarus."

Lysander looked at the boy who came in, and I gaped at him. Twins. They're freaking twins! Lysander smiled slightly, and stood up, but then his smile vanished.
"What are you doing here?"
"I knew you wouldn't come to Forgotten Academy under her orders, so I'm here to take you." Lazarus said, and Lysander frowned.
"I'd prefer to not go there. That place is for freaks like you."

Lazarus's eyes flashed with hurt, and Lysander smiled. Asshole, much? Lazarus looked over at me, and smiled.
"Your Nikolina, right? The new fairy coming. I'm Lazarus, nice to meet you." He said, and I smiled back at him. Then he focused his attention on Lysander again. "Lysander, your coming to this school. That's that."
"Who said your the boss of me? Just because your older than me by like what, ten minutes doesn't mean you can boss me around."
Lazarus sighed, "Marina, do it."

Mrs. Werrly stood up, and walked around her desk towards Lysander. She placed her hand on his head, and mumbled some words. Lysander started to tip over, and he fell into Lazarus's arms.
"What the hell did you do?" I questioned looking at Lysander.
"He wouldn't cooperate with me, so Marina or Mrs. Werrly put a sleeping spell on him." Lazarus said, and picked his twin up. "I'm gonna put him in my car." He glanced over at me. "It was nice to meet you Nikolina. I'll see you around campus."

Lazarus walked over of the room, and I sighed. What the hell just happened here?
"Now that that's done. I'd suggest you go pack your bags. Classes start tomorrow." Mrs. Werrly looked over at Nik. "You know where to go, right?"
"Yes. I believe I do."
"Very good."

I stood up, and Nik walked out of the office.
"Nikolina, I know this is all new information. But trust me, this is for the best. Please be safe, and put trust into your friends you make. They will help you overcome what's to come for you."
"What's to come? What are you talking about?"
"I'll see you again soon." Mrs. Werrly said, completely ignoring my questions.

I shook my head, and walked out of the office. Nik was waiting for me by one of the water fountains in the hallway. Students were walking around the halls occasionally glancing over at me. I ignored them, and walked up to Nik.
"You didn't tell me, I wasn't human?!" I growled, and he put his hand on my mouth.
"Nikolina, be quiet. No one here can know the truth about you. We'll talk in the car. Let's go." Nik said, and removed his hand. Without waiting I walked out of the building towards the car.

I opened the car door, and got in throwing my bag into the back. Nik opened his door up, and got in also. Without putting his seat belt on he turned the car on, and began to drive to our house.
"Nikolina, I'm sorry."
"I don't want to here it Nik. You say your sorry, but do you really even mean it? You hid this from me, something extremely important." I said, feeling betrayed.
"Listen to me, I wanted to tell you. I really did, but I promised mom and dad I wouldn't."
"Well, news flash, Nik. I hate them remember? Who gives two shits about what they say?!"
"I do. They're my parents also, Nikki." Nik said, lowering his voice.

I placed my hand on my head, and looked out the window. "Whatever, Nik. Let's just get home, so I can pack my bags."

Pulling up to the house, I got out of the car, and ran upstairs to begin packing. I heard Nik standing at the doorway as I packed, and looked at him over my shoulder. "What?"
"Here." He said, and I turned around.

In Nik's hand was a knife, I looked up at him, and he frowned. "Just because your not human doesn't mean I'm not gonna worry. Take this with you so you can protect yourself." He said, and I took it out of his grasp. "I know your upset with me, Nikki. I know, and I'm sorry. Just...please keep in contact with me while your gone. If something happens to me, I wouldn't be able to live with myself."

I looked down at the ground, noting that I was about to cry, and Nik hugged me. Silence engulfed us, as a few tears slid down my face. Damn, I'm crying. Nik stroked my hair, before planting a kiss on my head. He pulled away from me, and I smiled slightly.
"I'll keep in contact with you don't worry, Nik. Thank you, for this." I pointed to the knife, and he nodded.
"I'll let you pack."

An hour later after packing everything I needed Nik helped me put bags into the car. Sitting in the passenger seat I took a glance at the house I lived in for a short while. I'll miss this place actually. Nik closed the trunk, and got into the drivers seat.
"Ready?" He asked, and I nodded.

Forgotten Academy, here I come.
