A/N: Happy New Year's everyone. I hope everyone had a good time celebrating (if you did), and I hope 2017 is a better year then 2016 was. I personally just stayed in my room and watched an anime called Psycho-Pass. If you haven't watched it, then I definitely recommend you give it a shot. Uh...anyways, let's get on to the first chapter of this year, shall we?

The next day

After we got back to Forgotten Academy, we got it handed to us. Apparently, we were out longer than we were supposed to be. Luckily, we just got a warning. If we do it again, however, we won't be able to leave campus at all for a day. But in reality, it didn't matter to me. It was well worth getting in trouble this time. I had to make sure Nik was ok. Although I learned more than just that.

I sighed, and Lysander looked at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"It's nothing. Just thinking about yesterday that's all."

Right, Lysander, and the others don't know the full truth yet. My mother asked them to leave beforehand, not like she is my mother anyways. I guess this explains why Nik and I don't look anything alike.

Nik had sandy-blonde hair, with green eyes, while I on the other hand had jet-black hair, with crystal blue eyes. His skin tone was also darker than mine, but that could also be because he works outside.

I looked around the cafeteria we were in, and took in all the cheery people around us. Lysander clapped his hands together, and I glanced up at him.
"What's up?" I asked, confused.

Lazarus came up with Zaiden beside him, and looked at Lysander.
"Oh no. I know that look. Lysander what are you planning?" Lazarus said, and looked down at me. I shrugged, and looked back up at Lysander.
"Nothing, my dear brother." He said, and I scoffed.
"Now I know your up to something." I commented, and stood up.
"Am I that easy to read?" Lysander asked, and Lazarus laughed.
"Well that, and the fact you said 'dear brother'." Zaiden said, coming into the conversation.

Lysander smirked, and grabbed my hand pulling me towards him. I looked at him confused, as his spiky-blond bangs fell into his eyes. I'm going to regret this.
"Come on, Princess." He said, and pulled me with him to the door.
"Dammit, Lysander. There he goes again." I heard Lazarus said, and I couldn't help but smile.

When we arrived outside Lysander let go of my hand, and walked around. I saw Penelope, and Ashleigh walking around with their partners, and thought about saying hi, but then Lysander grabbed my hand again.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"My secret place."
"It's not a secret place-" I stopped, and he looked at me, "you have a secret place? Don't make me laugh."
"If you laugh I'll just have to shut you up."
"How would you do that?"
"A couple of different ways, but the way that would definitely catch you off guard would be if I kissed you." He said, and I gaped at him.
"K-kiss m-me?"
"Nah, don't worry. I'm joking. I don't have feelings for you like that." He said, and let go of my hand, and started to walk once more.

I felt a part of me break, ad he said those words. Wait, what?! Why am I hurt by those words!? It's not like, I have feelings for him either. Do I?
"Come on, Princess. I'm gonna leave you behind if you walk like a sloth."
"Excuse me. You wanna start a fight with me?"
"I highly doubt you'd even be a able to lay a scratch on me."
"You wanna test that theory?"
"Let's get to my secret place then we can try all you like, My Lady." Lysander said, as he grinned.
