⸞ Gabby's Point of View ⸞

I sighed as Bayleigh left the room. Josh and her were so in love and I could tell that just from one interaction, but she would never believe me if I told her.

I saw the way that Connor was looking at me, it was the way Bayleigh looks at Josh, with all of this excitement and passion. I have known since she was in the seventh grade that she loves Josh, so maybe Connor saw something in me that Bayleigh saw in Josh. I'm not trying to be cocky, but it was the look of love. Connor is really cute, but Bayleigh would kill me, besides the love of my life was on his way here to pick me up for our first date. "Bye Mom!" I heard Bayleigh say, followed by the door.

A few moments later I heard Josh's car start and then they were gone, off to the beach. I decided to get dressed. I had blue floral top on with white capris and white strap sandals. I took the time earlier to curl my auburn colored hair. I looked perfect to meet Justin Bieber!

I walked down the stairs to find my mom and dad, talking about Josh and Bayleigh. That is all they've been talking about since he popped into her life. They usually talked about how they could never approve of the relationship Bayleigh and Josh share, but my mom always admits that this is the happiest Bayleigh has been since her last year in middle school, and about how he got her talking again, so they should be grateful.

I cleared my throat to grab their attention, they both looked at me, "How do I look?" I asked smiling at them with one hand on my hip.

"Beautiful." My mother said.

"Like a gorgeous young lady." My dad agreed.

I smiled, walking into the kitchen. I grabbed a water, sipping it when the doorbell rang, I knew who it was. I slammed the bottle down and raced to the door, grabbing the knob and twisting to the right, opening the door to see the one and only Justin Bieber standing in front of me.

Honestly, I was screaming inside, but I stayed sane on the outside. "You must be Gabby." Justin smiled.

I couldn't help but smile back. "Yes, I am." I almost squeaked trying to hold in my excitement.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah. Where are we going?" I asked grabbing my purse.

"A fair." He smiled a bright smile.

I was surprised that he would take me somewhere so public for our first date, but so excited that I even had an opportunity like this.

When we got to the fair, Justin had paid for the tickets to get in and we began walking around. We got to play a few games that won me a small stuffed octopus that Justin told me I should name Drew. We started walking to the rides when Justin asked, "Do you want cotton candy, Gabby?"

He stopped in front of the cotton candy stand. "Sure. Thanks." I said.

Justin ordered two blue and pink cotton candy sticks, grabbing both of them from the vender, handing me one, before we continued to make our way to the rides. "So, how is work going?" I asked.

Justin started to talk about writing music and his management and how the fans were begging and begging for more and something that was stressing him out, and I tried to listen to every word that came out of his mouth, but my thoughts went to Connor and how his brown eyes were more perfect than Justin's, how his voice was husky, and how charming his smile was. Why am I thinking of Connor? I am on a date with Justin Bieber! Why does Connor matter?

"Gabby." Justin called, but I was too concentrated on my thoughts, "Gabby," Justin repeated, but in a harsher tone this time, which snapped me out of it, making me really look at him.

"Yes?" I jumped.

"Want to go on the furious wheel?" He asked, his voice was calmer, and he pointed at the rotating wheel.

"Sure." I said blankly, letting him take the lead.

We got to cut to the front of the line because after all, he is the one and only Justin Bieber.

When we were on the ride, I kept thinking of Connor, until we stopped at the very top and Justin took his hands in mine. I stared at his eyes and he stared back. As he leaned in, all I could think about was how the color of Justins' eyes could never compare to the color of Connors'.

Then I felt Justin's lips on mine and to my surprise, sparks didn't fly, my heart didn't jump to my throat, and there weren't any butterflies in my gut. It was nothing that I expected, because it felt like nothing.

He eventually stopped kissing me, pulling back from me, caressing my cheek as he began tostare in my eyes again before asking, "Be mine?"

I sat on my side silently, wanting to squirm out of my own skin before I let out my answer, "No."
