I sat in the front seat of his car, turned the radio down, and looked out the window. Trees flying by at high speeds, why were we going so damn fast? I asked myself. "Josh, where are you taking me?" I asked, looking at him from the passenger's seat.

"Do you really want me to ruin the surprise?" He asked, smiling a tad.

"I hate surprises, so yes." I nodded smiling.

"Fine, I am taking you to a baseball game, but like our own little baseball game. Just for us." He smiled, looking at me for a sign of an emotion.

My smile fell, "You'll win easily, I am only sixteen, you're twenty-two. Who do you think is going to win?"

"Are you saying men are stronger than woman?" He asked now looking at the road.

I gritted my teeth, "I would never say something so stupid or even intend on something like that."

"Alright, then don't be such a chicken, play baseball with me." He snickered.

I couldn't help but smile, "Okay."

"I'm going to beat you." He said being slightly cocky.

"You're going down." I smiled, warning him.

"Is that a threat I hear?" He asked, playfully sounding shocked.

"Well, it wasn't a compliment, now was it?" I asked playfully.

He nudged my arm laughing, which made me laugh. This moment right here, I wish I could pause this moment and live it forever This moment was absolutely perfect. Getting away from the psycho family would be good for a change.
