The True Origins of Natsu Dragneel

Chapter 23

Carla began to tell Wendy about the day that she got the visions. The visions of the fall of Natsu Drganeel.

Flashback to the day Team Natsu received the missions

"Wendy, Carla. Would you like to come?" Erza asked

"I most certainly am not going" Carla said, she had a vision, it was just a glimpse of destruction but she saw it, Natsu turning into a demon.

"But Carla. It'll be a great experience" Wendy replied.

"It would be for you child. You may go with them. I'll shall be returning to the exceeds for the time being. I'll come back once you get back" Carla replied knowing full well what was going to occur on the mission.

"But Carl-" Wendy started to say but was stopped by Carla, she needed Wendy to go on this mission or else Wendy would find out about her visions and try to stop it.

"Go with them Wendy" Carla said. Wendy held back her tears and hugged Carla.

"I'll miss you" Wendy said

"It's only going to be a month" Carla reassured the child but a tear slipped out of her eye as she saw the oncoming future. She saw so much destruction and fire.

Carla that night couldn't sleep because every time she closed her eyes she saw E.N.D, she wished she didn't have these visions, she wished that she couldn't see the destruction and the fire. The night that Wendy went on the mission with the rest of the team, Carla went over to where the exceeds were living.

She needed to talk to the queen about how to control these visions, the exceeds were living in a forest close by, she saw houses being built amongst the tree and saw the children playing in the night.

Carla flew through the trees until she found a beautiful built home that was likely to belong to the queen. She knocked on the door and waited for a response. Nichiya, the exceed that was always around the queen to 'protect' her, opened the door and welcomed Carla into the house.

"Welcome Carla, it's nice to see you again. The queen is waiting for you in the kitchen" Nichiya stated while leading the white exceed to the kitchen where the queen was patiently waiting for her.

"Hello Carla, I'm assuming you're here to talk about the visions that you had seen in your dreams" Shagotte, the queen stated knowing full well why Carla had come to visit her as she too had the same visions.

"The visions...what does it all mean?" Carla asked while taking a seat across the queen.

"I saw fire, destruction, the end of everything" Shagotte told Carla what she saw, Carla was hoping that if she could piece both her visions and the queens together, than maybe the visions will make more sense.

"This doesn't make any sense, why is this happening?" Carla spoke, all she wanted was peace and quiet.

"I can help you see past the fire and destruction. The Queen asked. Carla felt fear, she was genuinely afraid of what she saw but she knew that she needed to see the future in order to save Wendy and the guild that she came to love.

"I need to get to Wendy, i need to tell her what's going to happen" Carla rushed, she quickly stood up from her chair which forced the chair to collapse to the ground. The queen quickly stood up to stop Carla from going to Wendy. 

"If you tell Wendy what you saw, if you stopped her from going on this mission than everyone who you love will die" The queen emphasised harshly 

"If I don't tell her what i saw than she's going to be caught up in this war, i may not be able to see the full future but i can tell that a war is coming and I'm NOT, going to sit around while Wendy risks her life for me and everyone she loves. " Carla shouted at the queen, she wouldn't allow Wendy to carry this burden.
