Chapter 24

"In a another timeline, you're telling me that we all die because we're too weak to fight Natsu's egotistical father?" Gray asked, he couldn't care less about his own death, what truly affected him was the fact that he was unable to protect everyone he loved...Juvia.

"Im saying that you all died because Natsu's father was too strong" Carla stated as a fact. Erza, Wendy, Carla, Happy, Lucy, Gray and Juvia were at Wendy's dormitory discussing the vision that Carla had retold to the team.

"25th of December right?" Lucy asked for the 3rd time just to confirm the date.

"Yes, like I said multiple time" Carla said with annoyance in her voice.

"Juvia thinks that we should all tell Master and the whole guild about this" Juvia suggested loudly while everyone was either arguing or saying how unbelievable this is. Everyone finally quieted down

"I think Juvia is right, the old man and the guild deserves to know about what's coming" Gray agreed, this only caused Juvia to blush as Gray rarely agrees with her.

"We can't just bombard everyone with this news it will only cause everyone to go into a state of panic" Lucy stated firmly, she knew that everyone would just bombard the team with questions regarding the war.

"We need a plan" Erza stated calmly, she took out white board marker and summoned a white board. "We need to warn all of Magnolia, we'll tell them that a war will be occurring on the 25th of December, one year from now, the citizens deserve to know the truth, they will be given the option of leaving magnolia or dying" Erza explained while drawing herself speaking on a podium, talking to thousands of people.

"Couldn't we have given them just one option? Leaving?" Lucy asked while laughing nervously.

"Absolutely not, the people of Magnolia need to understand that if they do not leave by that specific date then everybody who they love I'll perish" Erza stated firmly, she isn't going to let thousands of people die because of their own ego's.

"Erza's right, we'll make sure that all of the citizens of Magnolia are gone by the 25th of December plus they have a whole year to prepare to leave" Carla agreed with Erza, she would never understand why humans would die for there own stupidly.

"So we got the people of magnolia sorted out but how about our guild?" Gray asked

"Juvia thinks that the fairy tail guild should have the same option as the citizens of magnolia" Juvia stated, she knew it would be unfair too force the other wizards too fight a war which could possibly result in their own death.

"She's right, we can't ask our friends, our family to risk their lives for a war" Lucy stated, she hated that in another possible timeline all of her friends died, she wandered whether or not Natsu knew of the becoming war.

"Alright, we'll need to discuss this with Master" Erza said, she walked out of the dormitory and the rest followed, Lucy noticed that Happy didn't say anything during their discussion.

"Happy" Lucy whispered softly, she waited for the rest to continue on ahead while she waited for happy who was just floating in the air.

Happy clenched his fist, Lucy couldn't tell if it was out of anger but judging by the facial expression of Happy she would say that he was pretty pissed.

"Did Natsu know about this? Is this why he left us....left ME?" Lucy has never heard Happy's voice sound so angry before, Happy was literally shaking from anger.

Lucy didn't know how to comfort Happy, she had never been in this situation, it was normally Happy being the positive one and reassuring her that Natsu would be alright.

"HOW COULD HE JUST LEAVE ME BEHIND SO EASILY, HE WAS THE ONLY FAMILY I HAD LEFT....IT WAS ALWAYS ME AND HIM AGAINST THE WORLD" Happy screamed, he screams suddenly died down and return to a mutter.  "Was i that weak? Did he leave because he thought i would drag him down in his training?"

Lucy's facial expression suddenly changed from a sympathetic expression to an angry yet delicate expression. "Happy, you are not weak, do you know how many times you saved me? Then first time we met, you saved me from those hypnotising assholes, don't even get me started on how many times you saved Natsu from dying"

Lucy suddenly embraced Happy, Happy was about to refuse but then he felt Lucy starting to cry, he allowed her to hug him. "You're not alone Happy, you will never be alone, if you want you can stay with me until he comes back because Natsu will come back, he will not abandon his friends so easily, and i dont know if he knows about the war or not, the only thing i do know is that his probably training really hard right now so we have to train just as hard so we can keep up with me" Happy began to cry into Lucy's shoulders, he was happy to have Lucy their for him whenever he needed.

Unknown Island

"When the hell are we going to land?" Natsu complained out of annoyance, they have been flying for 2 days, the only time they stopped was to get food, Acnologia  ate the cattle that were owned by farmers and Natsu simply ate fish. Natsu hated to admit it but he was getting sick of eating fish, 'Happy would hate me for saying that' Natsu thought to himself.

"Shut the hell up" Acnologia shouted at Natsu, "this is kid fricken annoying" Acnologia muttered under his breath although Natsu heard it due to his super hearing. Beneath Acnologia was an island that was covered with volcanoes and lava, the island was surrounded by water which appeared to be polluted.

"Oi, say that again and I'll kick your-" before Natsu could finish his threat he noticed that he was falling to the island below them. "SHHHHHHHIIIIIITTTTTTTT" Natsu screamed while falling to the ground, the last thing he remembered was feeling the earth beneath him, crushing his body he then fell into consciousnesses.

Few Hours Later

"Kid, wake the hell up" Acnologia shouted at the now sleeping Natsu who was muttering about food and his friends in his dreams. Natsu didn't budge from his spot so Acnologia resorted to the last thing he could think of, he powered up a black orb in his left hand and threw it Natsu.

The black orb burned Natsu's left arm, the pain caused Natsu to jolt up like a bullet. "What the heck was that for?" Natsu screamed, his facial expression changed from angry to confused, he pointed at Acnologia.

"Who are you?" Natsu asked at the man in front of him who threw the orb at him.

"Acnologia you dumbass" Acnologia stated as if it was the most thing in the world. "This is me in my human form"

"Human form? DRAGONS HAVE A HUMAN FORM?" Natsu shouted out of surprised, "Why the hell do you look like that?" Natsu asked while pointing out Acnologia's long blue hair, Natsu tried to hold in his laughter as he examined Acnologia's physical human form.

"Shut up, I was a dragon slayer before i became a dragon, it's a long story and we don't have time to waste.  I have to train you until the 23rd of December which is one year from now" Acnologia stated, he wore a black robe which covered his right arm.

"Are you going to teach me how to transform into a dragon?" Natsu asked excitedly, Acnologia sighed at the kid's stupidity. 

'This is going to be a hell of a long year" Acnologia thought to himself.
