Lucy and Natsu stood up from the ground, "I'm glad you're back" Lucy stated firmly, Natsu gave Lucy his infamous smile that she had longed, "Glad to be back", Natsu said back.

"Hey is that Natsu?" A familiar voice whispered

"No way, that can't be, since when did Natsu have long hair?" another voice replied

"I recognise those scents from anywhere" Natsu muttered under his breath as he turned around to face Macao and Wakaba.

"No way is it really you?" Macao asked, he sat up from the crate he was sitting on and walked over to Natsu, "Yep" Natsu replied while laughing

"GUY'S NATSU'S BACK" Wakaba shouted from the top of his lungs to his comrades that were in their tents. Natsu tried to shush Wakaba not wanting to draw to much attention to himself, Lucy laughed like old times.

Everyone came out of their tents and looked at Natsu, looking at him from head to toe, they took note of his long hair.

"IT'S REALLY HIM" Lisanna shouted, she along with the other fairy tail members ran towards Natsu, laughing out of pure joy. Each and everyone one of them hugged Natsu all at once.

Lucy laughed while she watched her comrades bombard Natsu with questions, most of it was about his hair length, this brought back the feeling of nostalgia. She stopped laughing and gave Natsu a small smile even thought he was looking at her.

"NATSU!" A feminine yet commanding voice shouted, everyone instantly shut their mouth's and moved away from Natsu out of fear.

Natsu slowly turned around, his face sweating and turning blue, he knew that monsters-, GIRL, he meant he knew that women's voice from anywhere, "H-h-hey Erza"

As Natsu turned around he saw Erza standing right in front of him, "Oh shit" Natsu muttered under his breath as he saw a punch coming his way. He could've easily have dodged it but he decided to let Erza punch him since he didn't want to piss her more off.

Natsu fell to the ground while everyone around them laughed at the 2, Lucy missed this atmosphere, it was if Natsu didn't leave for a year.

Erza towered over the frightened Natsu, "Lucy" Erza called out for her friends, Lucy looked just as scared as Natsu.

"Y-yes ma'am" Lucy stuttered out, despite it being a whole year, Erza remained just as scary as always.

"Call your crabby celestial wizard" Erza demanded as Natsu tried to run away but unfortunately for Natsu, she was grabbing him by his cloak. Natsu was apologising fiercely but no-one was listening to him as they were focused on Lucy.

"That's not his name" Lucy muttered under her breathe as she pulled out her celestial key and summoned, "Open gate of the giant crab, Cancer" Lucy shouted, Natsu watched in awe as he watched Lucy summon her spirit. He felt an immense power coming from her, how much did they all change over the year?

"What can I do for you Miss Lucy?" Cancer asked while snipping the scissors in his hands. Lucy pointed at Erza who was hitting Natsu repeatedly over the head.

"She's cold" Cancer stated firmly but instantly regretted saying that as he saw Erza give him a death glare as she had heard what he had said.

"Cut him" Erza said firmly, she had a stoic expression while everyone stared at her as if she had grown two heads.

Natsu tried to run, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Natsu repeated, he didn't want to die, especially not by a stupid crab. Erza was able to hold Natsu in place, despite his futile attempts to escape.

Cancer began cutting Natsu's head off and everyone sighed in relief, he looks like the old Natsu despite the scar under his eye. Natsu blinked twice, he was surprised that he was still alive.

Cancer stared at Natsu as if he was a piece of art, "Looking good" Cancer said before disappearing back to the Zodiac World.

"Better, you don't look so stupid anymore" Erza stated harshly as she stared at Natsu's short hair, Natsu sighed, "I was starting to like it" he muttered under his breath while standing up.

"Good to have you back" Erza said, she gave Natsu a normal hug, "Where were you for the past year?"

Natsu sighed, "Training", he didn't want to go into detail as he knew how they would all react, he slipped out of the hug.

"With who?" Erza asked, she wasn't going to let Natsu give her basic answers, Natsu simply shook his head.

"You wouldn't want to know" Natsu stated, everyone looked at Natsu curiously, "maybe we should talk somewhere more privately" Lucy stated as she saw everyone's curious looks.

Erza and Natsu nodded their heads in agreement, everyone else sighed, they wanted to know what had happened to Natsu. They walked past several tents and camp until they went to the main tent. Luckily there was no-one in there so they could talk privately.

"Start talking" Erza commanded, her voice sounding angry yet calm at the same time.

"I decided on my own will that...I would train for year with my brother Zeref, but instead he forced me to train under a well-known dragon.... Acnologia" Natsu told them, they stared at Natsu with shock.

"You trained under a dragon which tried to kill us and almost succeeded?" Lucy asked, her voice was seething with anger. "Why? How could you do that?"

"I know, it's stupid but I'm stronger now, I can beat my father now" Natsu staed with confidence.

'You left us to train with a murderer, how could you do that? We have been killing ourselves trying to kill the demons that YOUR father created while you went off on your own little journey. We have lost people, Do you think that was fair?" Lucy shouted at Natsu, Erza decided to remain quite, she didn't trust herself from breaking.

"Your right...I did leave and I am sorry.... I really am, if I'd known what happened then I would've stayed. Honest" Natsu stated quietly, "But I promise you that I will kill my father before he hurts anyone else that I care about"

Lucy nodded her head softly, she felt guilty about the way she had acted but she had been holding in these feelings for a whole year.

"Well im glad your back Natsu, I'll fill you in on the deta-"Before Erza could finish what she was saying a familiar voice could be heard from outside the tent.

"Where the hell is he?"

"Oh no" Lucy muttered under her breath, things were bad...really bad. She knew that this wasn't going to a happy reunion.

Gray suddenly stormed into the tent, his fist was radiating with a dark mist, it was completely different from his old ice magic. Natsu instantly took note of this but didn't say anything.

"Hey ma-" Natsu began greeting his long time best friend and rival, but instead of a hi back he got a punch to the face. The punch was different though, it was intended to hurt him, usually when they spar they never try to actually injure the other.

Natsu flew into tent, the tent collapsed with Natsu under it, Erza and Lucy quickly moved out of the way. Natsu pushed the tent off of him and glared at Gray who was literally growling at him, 'Why was he using demon slayer magic?
