Natsu and Happy sat on the tree in silence, Happy couldn't help but notice the guilt that his best friend was bearing, he wanted to change the topic, "Where'd you go" Happy asked which snapped Natsu out of his thoughts.

Natsu rubbed the back of his while laughing nervously, he was afraid of how everyone was going to react to him training with Acnologia, "Trust me, you wouldn't believe me" Natsu stated while Happy stared at him with confusion, "How about you?" Natsu asked, he wasn't sure if Happy was living at their old house or if he travelled around the place.

"I mainly stayed with Lucy at her house, and if I wasn't there than I would be learning about magic in the village of the exceeds" Happy stated proudly, Natsu looked at him with pride.

"Yeah, from the moment I saw you I could tell that your magic has increased, same with everyone else" Natsu said although his voice sounded distant and sad, "I bet everyone trained hard to fight him...my father"

Happy looked up at his friend but then looked back down. After a couple of minute of silence, Natsu whipped his head around and caught a piece of fruit that was aimed towards his head. He looked down to see who threw the fruit and smiled when he saw Lucy.

Natsu jumped down the tree and landed in front of Lucy, "What was that for?" he asked as he bit into the piece of fruit.

"I thought you would be hungry" Lucy stated, Natsu smiled gratefully at Lucy.

"Thank you" Natsu said softly, Lucy stared at Natsu with shock as he sounded so delicate, "Hey Luce?"

"Yeah what's up?" Lucy asked as she notice that Natsu was looking up at the stars above while blushing. She let out a giggle, she sat down and leaned onto the tree for support, Natsu raised his eyebrows at her out of confusion, she than patted the ground next to her for him to sit down. He smiled and sat down next.

The 2 sat in silence with Happy still sitting in the tree above, although they seemed to have forgotten about him, he rolled his eyes at the silence between them but chose not to say anything or else they may tell him to get lost.

"So, is there something you wanted to say?" Lucy asked as she watched Natsu get lost in his own thoughts, Natsu suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and opened his mouth to say something, but then he close it. Lucy couldn't help but find how cute Natsu was when he was lost for words.

"Ummm..." Natsu mumbled, "Do you...do you hate me?" Natsu asked, Lucy looked at him as if he had grown to heads.

"That's what you were so afraid of asking me?" Lucy asked, she looked at Natsu's pouting face, but then his facial expression change from a child to a person who has matured over the past year.

Lucy sighed, "I could never hate you Natsu, at first I was mad.... i was so angry at you for leaving just like that. I thought you didn't care about us" Lucy muttered, Natsu was going to interject but she raised her hand up to silence him. "I know that's not true now, I know that you have such as pure heart...and that's why I....I loved you Natsu" Lucy muttered, Natsu stared at Lucy with shock, Did she just confess her love for him?

Lucy wiped a few tears from her eyes, "That's why we all love you Natsu", Natsu shook off the shock and smiled at Lucy with the purest smile.

"You love each other" Happy sand from above the tree branch.

Lucy suddenly turned red and instantly stood up, "Can it you fur ball", she shouted with embarrassment.

The 2 began arguing before they saw Gray and Erza walk back into the tent that their master was in. "Let's go" Natsu said as he walked into the tent with Lucy and Happy following behind, still shooting glares from their eyes.
