Chapter 7

Jonathan's POV:

- Jonathan you have no idea what just happened today at my house.- Roxie said crying harder.

I just stared at her very worried.

-what's wrong Roxie? You have no fucking idea how worried I am right now.- Roxie was crying so bad. I hugged her really bad. I wanted her to know tha she was safe with me. That she could count on me. I looked at her and she was red. Like red with anger. She looked at me with anger in her face. She wasn't crying anymore. She violently wiped her tears.

-Roxie?-

-yes, Jonathan?- she answered in a whisper.

-what happened at your house?- I asked softly.

-can I trust you?-she asked with a sinister tone.

-yeah, you can always trust me.- I said very worried.

-I was waiting for you,- she said with anger,- and I saw you outside my window, so I was going down the stairs to open the door for you.- she said but now calmly.

-okay, then what?- I asked trying to make her hurry.

-I went pass my mom's bedroom and I heard her scream. I thought something was wrong with her.- she let down tears but she didn't make a sound. I seriously felt really bad I wanted to start crying.

-I opened the door and saw MY MOTHER on top of another man.- she had said mother with sarcasm-NAKED. KISSING HIM. I saw my mother cheating on my father. You will never guess who that man was.- she said looking at me. I seriously could not believe what I just heard and I think she noticed. She whispered in my ear making me get goosebumps,

-it was my uncle, my dad's brother.- I was so shocked. Then I looked at her.

-Roxie, I'm so sorry.- I said trying to calm her.

- oh my gosh don't be!- she shouted. - don't feel sorry- she laughed. She was scaring me. - that bitch doesn't deserve my tears. After all, she is not my mother.- o my GOSH, WTF?

-Roxie what do you mean she is not your mom?- I asked very shocked. She looked at me with a tiny smile. I had not noticed she looked very pretty like that. I gave her a tiny smile too.

-no, my dad married her when I was two. My mom died when I was 3 months old. It was a car accident. My dad started dating her when I was 10 months old and that's why all the pictures you have with my family in it is her except the one where I'm at your house. You know the one near the pool.- she said.

I remember that picture. She was very tiny. I smiled.

-I remember Roxie. I also remember asking you who that was and you said that it was your aunt. You also got very nervous.- I said calmly. I laughed. Not the loud kind. The soft and short kind of laugh. She smiled and I smiled at her.

- she is my mother. I don't remember her. I do love her.- she got up from the table at the cafe.

She laughed and said

-fuck everything- I looked at her very confused. Then she walked to a couple who looked at her strangely.

-excuse me, are you gonna use that?- she asked pointing to a knife. (Readers keep in mind he is two tables away from her)

The couple said no and she got the knife. I looked at her amd I started running toward her but I bumped against a waiter and dropped everything she had and making me fall.

-ROXIE DON'T!!- she took the knife to her wrist and said

-I'm sorry Jonah but FUCK EVERYTHING.- She pushed down the knife and cut her wrist making blood drip everywhere. She fell blacking out.
