Marathon 2/3

I forgot to put in the beggining of the last chapter that A,anda woke up which you guys must have realised anyways. 😊

Jonathan's POV:

I heard the front door opening and closing. I quickly got up and looked from my window. Amanda was down there at 4 AM! She started walking towards the park and looked at a bench. She smiled and sat there. I went back inside my room and changed. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs.

She was now standing giving her back to me. Her long, wavy brown hair was dancing with the summer wind. I closed the door of the house and I went up to her. I didn't reach her. She started skating away.

I decided to follow her. She stopped after such a long time in front of a Starbucks Cafe. I sat on a chair and watched as she ordered a frappe. It was a surprise to me that it was still open. She was talking to the guy. She smiled and payed for her drink. She looked at a table and grabbed a knife that was there.

She smiled at it and I panicked. What if she cuts again? She didn't though. She just put it down and started drinking her coffee. She looked outside the window and she smiled. The beach was outside and it did look beautiful. She got up and threw what remained of her coffee.

She went outside amd headed for the beach. She breathed in the smell of the ocean swaying back and forth. She took off her vans and felt the sand in her toes. She left her stuff in the sand and went up to put her feet in the water.

-it is beautiful here.- she whispered to herself. She went out and sat down in the sand. Her long brown hair swayed beautifully just like the ocean. This was the second day that she was here and yet so many things had happened.

I got close to her in 24 hours and it was the best thing that had happened in my life. I wamted to go up to her but what she said totally broke my heart.

-but I just don't belong here- and she cried as she hugged her legs to her chest.
