Chapter 9

Amanda's POV:

Jonathan had called me. He said that there was an emergency and that he would wait for me at the hospital. I freaked but he hang up. Then I realised I didn't have an idea where the hospital was located. I didn't know if I should ask Aunt Juliet.

Then I remembered he had said not to. I told my mom that I was going to the park in front of the house to skate. She nodded and told me to be careful. I grabbed my skateboard and headed to the door. I went out and headed for the park.

I called Jonathan but it went to voicemail. I was desperate, like I really wanted to be with him. That came out wrong. Like, I want to know what happened. Yes that is what I meant. I went up to this couple and I was so embarrased but I was desperate.

They were saying really cute stuff to each other and I felt horrible to interrupt them but they were my only hope. They got up from that bench and I ran up to them. They looked at me really strangely.

-I'm so sorry but may I ask you a question?- the boy looked at me and then nodded.

-can I have directions to the hospital?- the girl looked really annoyed but the boy smiled.

-of course we can, Aleissa can you go bring the car so we can go?-

The girl looked me up and down and she rolled her eyes. I didn't know what her problem was, I was just looking for directions. I knew, after all, what kind of girl she was. She was that spoiled, dumb, bitchy girl who wanted everything and got it. I rolled my eyes and then the boy started explaining everything. He told me that it was about 15 minutes from there and I thanked him.

-anytime sweetie,- he said. The girl pulled his arm and I looked back. She was yelling something at him.

I saw the way he looked annoyed and he turned around and said,

-Mario, 15- he smiled and the girl kept walking looking very annoyed.

-Amanda, 13 and 11 months- I laughed cause I could've just said 13. He smiled and left.

I grabbed my skateboard and rode away making my way to the hospital.
