Chapter Seven

Months had passed and Roger finally decided to take April out on a proper first date at a nice restaurant. Eden was over helping April get ready whilst Kaea & the boys assisted Roger in looking somewhat decent.

April settled for a simple white dress with purple lining & purple lipstick, along with black wedges. The gang dressed Roger up in a silver suit. They greeted at Aprils doorstep, both breath taken by the beauty of their partner , but of course they focused on how people would look at the other instead.

"You look nice" he smiled holding her hand. Amelia and the rest saw them off as the Eden & Kaea took book loads of photos whilst the boys were cheering him on.

They arrived at the restaurant and to no one's surprise , they were the only brown people in there. And ordered the whole restaurant lol . April ordered a glass of wine which soon turned into eight.

"Take it easy , you're almost too hard to handle when your drunk" - Roger took a sip out of her glass.

"Why are you drinking it? You hate wine" and she was right. He washed down the taste with a simple coke, no more drinking for him tonight.  The waiter finally arrived with a tray full of food for both.

They held a conversation over Aprils schooling & her upcoming 22nd birthday. Her birthday fell on a Friday, but little did she know that Roger had already organised for the two to spend that weekend in Romans holiday house in  New Castle. It was a little surprise for her.

The night ended with a fully intoxicated April slumped over Roger's shoulder because he was sick of continuously holding her to refrain from falling. They stayed in the restaurant until it was closing time. She was knocked out by the time they reached the car.

Twenty minutes later they arrived in Rogers room. She was still dead asleep. He removed her heels and replaced her dress with one of his shirts then fell asleep beside her. What a success tonight was for the couple.

April's birthday soon arrived and she was awoken to a room filled with everyone, friends & family. Roger was sitting on the foot of her bed along with Elijah.

"Happy 22nd birthday A" the room was filled with a happy vibe. One by one, everyone approached April for a kiss, saving Roger for last.

"Ok out out out we all need to get ready" Eden & Kaea we're pushing out and closing April's door.

"We're taking you shopping for tonight which is dinner at some fancy restaurant that Niko got us."

April slid her lazy ass off the bed and into the bathroom. They spent the day in Parramatta shopping until they ran out of money. April bought Roger a new watch and a new Xbox game for Elijah and DariusThey ended their shopping spree in the food court demolishing their meals until they were joined by some guests.

"A your not gna have any room left for later" - Christian

"She always has room for more" Roger laughed kissing her forehead as she scrunched up her face and pushed him away.

"Get lost , I don't wanna see your ugly ass til later" she muttered taking a bite out of her burger. Roger leaned in a pecked her on the lips before biting the rest of her burger and dodging her punch all at once.

"I love you" he flashed her a smile then walked away with Christian.

The restaurant was beyond beautiful, an Italiano garden lit up with lights every which way. They sat around a large table so everyone can fit. April sat beside Roger & her mother. Niko stood up and blessed the food before April thanks everyone for being there tonight

The waiter brought out pizza, garlic bread & all sorts of Italian delicacies. The entire group was filled to a point where they couldn't move. The couple said bye to everyone and left in Rogers jeep.

"Where we off too?" - April

"Sit back and sleep, ur always asking too many questions"

April woke up to a window filled with sunshine, she was in Romans holiday house, with the blinds drawn so she could see the clear view of the ocean.

The smell of bacon & toast made her rise from the bed that she never wanted to leave and jog to the kitchen. Laid out on the table was plates filled with bacon , eggs & toast. Damnnn nikka could cook.

"Morning" she reached up and kissed his cheek before pulling him towards the table.

"Why we ?"

"This weekend is a gift, today & tomorrow so eat up because we probably won't be back till dark"

They demolished their food in silence before getting ready for there day.

Roger took her all over the coast, to famous spots , breathtaking views and a park to just rest up. They had lunch at some seafood restaurant and the fish sent April over the moon. By the time Roger took her home , it was sundown. She was drained and almost fell asleep as soon as she fell onto the bed, if it wasn't for Roger pushing her to take a shower.

April arose in the middle of the night ... unable to sleep . So why not annoy her other half to keep her company lol?

"Babe" she shook him

"What" he mumbled sleepily , his eyes still closed

"I can't sleep" April whined

"Babe just lay back down" He sighed pulling her by the arm.

She smirked ... realising that there was no better was to annoy him than to tease him. April smiles , sitting on top of him and began kissing his neck. He soon woke (April could tell because his little soldier was up) and in one swift notion, shifted so that now he was on top. He kept nibbling on her neck before placing a kiss on her lips. Oh boy what a backfire this was.
