Chapter 35

Still Blaire's P.O.V

Nick drove us to Jake's place and Blake kept on crying. I took him and put him in my lap while wincing cause of my ribs that were paining and throbbing. He hugged me carefully and I rocked him back and forth.

~at the penthouse~

We came by Jake's place and I knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked a few times until the door finally went open and the sight that greeted me was wow. There Jake stood in all his glory in only a towel wrapped around his waist. His eyes lit up when he saw us.

"Hey come on in" he smiled and we walked in

He looked at Blake and saw that his eyes were red. He's face immediately showed concerned and he crouched down to Blake. And looked at him to see if he got hurt

"What happened buddy?" He asked softly

"D-dadda Harry h-hurt mamma" Blake said and wiped his tears

Jake's eyes widened and he looked at me. I didn't dare make eye contact and he stood up and walked to me. He lift my chin and saw the bruises on my face. His face grew angry

"He hit you!" He yelled

He hugged me and I winced. He backed up and lifted my shirt where he saw the bruise that's forming by my ribs.

"Blaire we need to take you to the hospital" he said concerned

I shook my head "No hospital. Paparazzi will know everything."

He nodded and took out his phone and dialled someone

~a few minutes later~

There was a knock on the door and Jake went to go open it. A doctor came and checked up on me. He said that my ribs are just bruised and gave me a few painkillers for the pain. I thanked him and watched Blake sound asleep on the couch. Jake followed my line of vision and walked to Blake. He picked him up and carried him to a room which I assumed is his.

I set my head down and I was just about to drift off when Jake came into the living room again. He sat next to me and looked at me with concerned and anger in his eyes

"Blaire you're not marrying him anymore. Look what he did to you!" He whisper yelled

"Its okay.. I gave him the ring back and told him to get out of my house. Thank you for letting us in" I said

"You're always welcome here Blaire... You have my son and my heart. I love you Blaire. I still do, when I saw that you were engaged to him my whole world crumbled down. I was depressed and even neglected my work. But having you here with Blake just makes my day" he said and held my hand.

I lifted his chin and gave him a peck on the lips "Thank you"

He smiled and kissed me. I kissed back feeling the sparks again in my stomach. He lift me up and soon I was straddling him on the couch. He held me carefully cause of my ribs and we pulled away for air.

"I love you baby" he said and smiled

"I love you too Jake" I said
