Chapter 1: I need an answer

So this is what happened last time on glee. Finn proposed to Rachel. She left him with no answer and it's a week now since he proposed to her. He wants an answer by the end of the week will she say yes and be together forever or will she say no and break his heart possibly ending their relationship as we know it?

I strode down the hall scanning the place looking for Finn 'where is he?' I thought. So much has went on this past few weeks. Mr Shue and Ms Pilsbury is getting married soon and Finn proposed to me too but I don't want anything stopping me fulfil my dreams in becoming a performer. I'm still going to New York even if I don't get into NYADA. It's my dream to live in New York and perform and I don't think Finn will come but still what to do? I want to marry Finn, I love him... I told him last week I would think on it.. Maybe he has gotten fed up with me.. Oh god don't think that Rachel don't think that..

'Rachel!' Kurt said rushing towards me slightly worried.

'Yeah Kurt?'

'NYADA letters are coming this week, oh my god I'm so nervous'

'I highly doubt I got in after what I did to the votes during the election, Kurt' I sighed.

'well I know I didn't get in either, not being the senior class president or even getting in the school musical either...I just really wanna get into NYADA'

'Me too Kurt'

'Have you seen Blaine?'

'No I haven't have you seen Finn?'

'Yeah he's in the Auditorium... He wants to see you.. I have to ask you seem rather off this week.. Are you okay?'

'me? Yeah I'm fine.. I should go to Finn.. See you later Kurt..' I hurried off towards the Auditorium..

I walked into the Auditorium 'Finn?'

'Hey Rachel' he smiled.

'you were looking for me?'

'yeah I was' he nodded.

'what's up?' I said walking towards him.

'Rachel, it has been a week since I proposed to you...have you an answer for me yet? I can't wait any longer. It's killing me to know..'

'Finn... I want to honestly but New York..'

'Rachel.. listen to me we can have any future we want you make me happy, you're the one I think about every second... I can't imagine my life without you.. Just thinking about you saying yes will make me the happiest guy on this earth..'

I smiled widely and just when I opened my mouth to answer Kurt ran into the Auditorium... 'Rachel Figgins wants us in his office right away.. I think its about NYADA...'

'ok I'm coming' I turned to Finn and whispered 'after Glee Club I'll give you an answer for you'

He smiled and kissed my cheek softly.. 'Sure.. I need an answer though can't leave me hanging babe' he whispered.

I managed to crack a smile and walked to Kurt.

As we walked to Figgin's office all I could think about was that 'am I sure I want to say yes? I want to.. Maybe I should talk to Kurt or Mercedes about this.. I need to ask someone for advice.. If I don't into NYADA I still would have Finn a guy I want to spend my life with but I also want to be on Broadway.

As we opened the door to Figgin's office. I was trembling with nerves.. Now this was it.. We were going to find out if we got into NYADA.. There was two letters sitting on the desk.. one with my name on it and the other with Kurt's.. I took kurt's hand tightly and sat down..

'Now Kurt, Rachel..time to open the letters...Good Luck'

i looked at the letter picking it up nervously..

'Good Luck Rachel' kurt whispered nervously.

'Good luck Kurt' i opened the letter slowly.. i read the letter slowly..

i folded the letter up as i stood up not saying a word and stuffing the letter in my dress pocket and leaving the room with a blank expression on my face..
