I whipped out my earbuds, since sitting under the bridge, staring at nothing made me feel stupid. I clicked into Spotify and played my DMX playlist. The first song that came on was 'Where the Hood At' with 'X Gon Give It To Ya' afterwards. Perfect, my two favorites first, I thought.
"Hey Y/N," I heard. "Who are-- Oh hey Gene... GENE?!" What could he want with me?! "Yes, me. So whatcha doing?" He questioned. "I'm listening to my favorite songs." You replied, more at ease. "What songs?" "Where The Hood At and X Gon Give It To Ya by DMX," I replied. "YOU LIKE DMX?!" He said, sounding astonished.

"Ye-yea. I love him." I stuttered.. damn you feelings. "I do too!" He happily replied jumping up and down. "I-I mean, yea they're cool." He calmed down and sat down beside me again. "Hehehe..." I giggled. "Hey! Don't laugh at me!" He shot a glare at me than turned away in anger. "So-RRY!" I sassily replied. "Don't sass me, toots!" "I sass who I wanna sass, sweets." I whipped my hair into his face. "WHY YOU!" "Hehehe" So Gene and I fought for a little longer till the sky started to turn a darker shade of blue. "Hey Gene, it's time for me to start heading home." "Awww, so soon? Well cya than loser!" Gene replied. "Your just jealous that you don't have these hot looks!" I yelled back, running off before he could respond.
