Why Did We Get Married?

Leo's POV

I can't make out face, and I sure as hell don't wanna look at another guy's ass. That's completely disgusting.

I'll just go hide out in the bushes and wait until whoever Skye is screwing leaves out. Then I'll be able to figure out who he is.

------------THE NEXT DAY------

How long have they been at it? I guess he must have stayed the night, because his car is still parked out front.

I can't believe I slept in these bushes all night. My back hurts, my legs feel numb, and there are bugs crawling all over me. I would've busted in there and kicked the guy's ass. But I wanted Skye to tell me herself. And the longer she waited to admit she was cheating on me, the more I would question whether I wanted to be in a relationship with her anymore, and less trust. Do you know how sad it is to know that you can't trust your wife?

Suddenly, I hear a door creak in the distance.

Must be the bastard that fucked my wife!

Finally, I'll get to see who it is...

As soon as the perpetrator walked out the door, my jaw dropped.

Mateo....

Now all Skye has to do is confess.

Skye's POV

"Bye Mateo..."

Mateo- Later babe.

I had to admit that last night was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Sad to say...he was a lot better in bed than Leo.

Leo.....

Leo! Oh my god! I completely forgot about him! Oh god, what have I done? I hope he doesn't find out about this...

*Knock,  Knock, Knock*

Oh god! He's here!

"Who is it?"

Leo- It's me, babe.

I opened the door. And there he was, the guy I married but just cheated on. How could I even do that to him? I love him! Or at least I thought I did...

"Hey babe. Where have you been?"

Leo- At work, then I had a drink with Dylan and Alex. I guess I passed out and they brought me here. How about you? What did you do?

"Nothing, just watched a couple of movies. Did you miss me?"

Leo- I did. And guess what?

"What?"

Leo- I don't have to work tomorrow and Michael will be at school today and tommorow. We'll have the whole house to ourselves.

"Ok."

Leo- You don't sound happy about that? Are you ok? Whatever it is, I'm sure I can fix...

He has no idea....

"I'm fine, Leo. I just missed you so much."

Leo- I did, too. Did you take Michael to school yet?

"Yeah. Why? What did you have in mind?"

To be honest, I wasn't in the mood for sex. I was sore and exhausted from what Mateo had done to me.

Leo- You know exactly what I have in mind....

He walked over to me, grabbing my waist and pulling his body towards my own.

"Leo, I--I can't!"

Leo- Why not?

Leo's POV

"Why not?"

Skye- I'm not in the mood, Leo.

"Why are you not in the mood?"

Skye- Because I wanna go to sleep!

"Why do you wanna go to sleep?"

Skye- Because I'm tired.

"Why are you tired?"

Skye- Because I had to do the laundry. ..

Really?

"Why'd you have to do the laundry?"

Skye- Stop asking me all these questions!

"Is there a problem?"

Skye- You're making me uncomfortable!

"How? Is there something you're not telling me?"

She just looked at me, then stared at the floor.

"What are you not telling me?!?"

Skye- Nothing!

"You're lying! Tell me!"

Skye- What is there to tell you?

"That you've been fucking Mateo while I'm at work and didn't even have the decency to tell me the truth. You'd rather lie about it and lead me on, making me think that you really love me. Turns out that was all a lie."

Skye- I do love you...

"So screwing Mateo behind my back is love? Because if it is, you have a funny way of showing it! That's just really messed up. If you hated me that much, why did you even agree to marry me?"

Skye- Leo....

"When you marry someone, it's about commitment! It's about loving one another until we die! It's about making sacrifices! It's not mainly about the sex, or the money. It's about trust, and the strength to build the marriage. They say love conquers all, but you don't even love me enough to stay faithful!  I want this marriage to work! And in order for that to happen, you have to put in your effort, too. I know I've been working late, and I hate it! I hate working late at night and not being able to protect Michael and you! I hate not being able to hold you, to cuddle with you, to kiss you, and make love to you! I want to be home but I need to make money in order to provide for you. I don't think you realize how much I love you. But after what happened, I'm guessing that you don't feel the same about me.....and you know what? I think we need to seperate..."

Skye- What do you mean? Like temporarily?

"Permanently."
