Who To Choose?

Austin's POV

"What the hell?!?"

Skye- It's not what it looks like!

"Oh really? So if you two aren't dry humping each other then what are you doing?"

Leo and  Skye were at a loss for words.  Their mouths opened, but no words were spoken.

"I should've known this was too good to be true. I thought we actually meant something to each other. But I guess that was a lie. And here you are making out with another guy while your daughter is sleep, and we're still in a relationship. You probably don't even know this guy!"

Skye- The thing is, Austin, Leo's my ex-husband...

"This is the guy who left you for that tramp, Olivia!"

Leo- She's not a tramp! She's my wife!

"If you cared so much about her, then you wouldn't be over here trying to screw my future wife!"

Leo and Skye screamed in unison:

"What?!?"

"Skye, I want you to marry me. I don't care about anyone else, not even that piece of shit standing in my living room. I don't care that you have a daughter by him. You guys are the most important people in my life and without you, I'm just not whole. I'm not complete without you. I just want us to start over as a new family, and have kids of our own. All I've dreamed about is to marry you. I mean, who wouldn't? You're beautiful, intelligent, and the most amazing person I've ever met. Just say yes, please..."

Leo- Please tell me you're not gonna marry him, let alone , even consider it. Look at him!

Skye- Um... uhhh....

"Please, I love you."

Skye's POV

"Please, I love you..." Austin pleaded, looking at me like he would die without me. In retrospect, he probably would.

"Oh, please!" Leo screamed in anger and frustration. "She's better off with me."

"Yeah, right. What can you possibly give her that I can't?" Austin questioned.

"Maybe I should be asking you that question. After all, I've already given her everything: love, money, children, sex....." He teased.

Oh god, he just HAD to bring that up! And I didn't like where this was going...

In the blink of an eye, Austin tackled him. And although I kinda liked the idea that two guys were fighting over me, I had to stop them.

"Austin! Stop!" I shrieked. When they got up from wrestling back and forth, I saw that Austin had a busted lip while Leo had barely a scratch on him. They both stared at me with cold, soulless eyes.

"I'll be upstairs. I think Ashlyn is starting to wake up." Austin said, before quickly running up the stairs.

"Ok. I'll be up in a minute. I just need to talk with him for a few minutes."

Leo- Please tell me you're not gonna marry this guy.

"Then I'd be lying to you."

Leo- Wait! You're seriously gonna go through with this?

"Why do you care? When you left me, did you care whether I wanted to be with another man? Did you care when I tried to tell you I was pregnant? But you were the one who didn't wanna hear anything I had to say! And at that time, you were one selfish bastard. Leo, you divorced me the one time I cheated, yet you've cheated on me multiple times and I still took you back. When you left, I cried for months. I cried because you left me. I cried because you divorced me, after everything we've been through together. I cried because I was gonna have to raise Ashlyn on my own for the months that followed. That is, until Austin showed up, and he basically ended all the hell that you had put me through. So don't try to come here now and expect me to take you back.

Leo- Babe...

"Don't call me that! And you know what?!? You're a pig! You tried to come over here and get me to fall in love with you, while you're still married to Olivia!"

Leo- Skye, I'm sorry....

"Stop apologizing to me. Can't you see that your words are pathetic and meaningless to me? Do you think an apology is gonna make me fall into your arms again?!?" Leo looked taken aback a little. Even a little shocked, too.

Leo- Fine. I'll leave...

"Goodbye forever Leo."

"F--forever?" He questioned. Obviously, he didn't think I was serious.

"Forever..."

"B-- But!" Was all he could say before I slammed the door in his face. I went upstairs to go check on Austin and Ashlyn. And when I got there, he was rocking her to sleep while singing her a lullaby. He handed her to me while I tucked her in bed.

Then I went into the bathroom, with Austin following close behind.

"I need to clean that busted lip of yours. Are you ok?"

Austin- I'm fine. You takin' a shower?

"Yeah."

Austin- Can I hop in with you?

"If you want..."

While I was brushing my teeth, I looked at the reflection in the mirror. Not only did I see myself, but also the bruises all over Austin's body after he removed his shirt.

"Oh god...are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

Austin- I'm fine, babe. It just hurts a little.

"Are you sure?"

Austin- Don't worry about me, I should be worried about you. Are you okay?

"I'm fine, Austin..."

We showered together for a while, then put on our pj's and watched a movie, cuddling with him until I fell asleep.

But before I did, :

"Yes."

Austin- What?

"I'll marry you."
