Betrayal

Leo's POV

Austin, Mateo, Liv, and I all met up at Austin's house. This was the perfect place to capture them, since Skye and Ashlyn they won't suspect a thing.

Finally, they came in the house. All the lights were off and they couldn't see a thing. Suddenly, Olivia and I took Ashlyn to another room, while Mateo and Austin dragged Skye to the basement where they held a napkin to her nose, wet with a substance that immediately knocked her out and caused her to become unconscious.

Mateo- Bro, would you care to do the honors?

Looking at her seemingly lifeless body almost made me have a bit of sympathy for her, but then I remembered all the hell she put me through; that smidge of sympathy quickly went away.

I blindfolded her eyes and tied her arms, hands, and feet to the pole. I went back upstairs to check on Ashlyn and made sure that Liv didn't do anything to Ashlyn, and she wasn't; actually Logan, who was now 4, and Ashlyn, 5, were playing with their toys and laughing. When I went back downstairs, Skye was drenched with water, and she was awake.

Skye - Where am I?

Mateo - Don't you recognize this place? You're inside your own home.

Skye - What are you doing here? And why am I tied up ?!?!?!?!? Austin! Austin, HELP!!!

Mateo - Shush sweetie, he's already here. Come on out, Austin!

Out came Austin, and he stared deeply into Skye' s eyes.

Skye- Austin? Please get me out of here!

Austin- I'm sorry, but I can't. I work for Mateo and Liv...

Skye -  How could you join this ludicrous conspiracy??? And where's Ashlyn?

I peeked out from behind the door and there she was, helpless as ever.

Skye - Leo?!?!? What the hell! Please tell me you didn't join these guys...

I looked at her, uneasy, and I think she noticed it, too.

Skye - How could you? After all we've been through and you do this to me? Where's my daughter???

"Don't worry, she's completely safe..."

Skye - WHERE IS SHE, LEO?!?!?!?

"She's with Liv, but she's fine..."

Skye - You trusted my daughter with that evil bitch???

Suddenly, we heard crying amidst our argument and froze.

It stopped. Must've been Logan...

Ashlyn - MOMMY!!! DADDY!!!

Skye - Is that my baby girl???

"Oh god, Liv !!!!" I yelled as I hurried up the steps and into the room.

"Liv, what the hell are you doing with my daughter?!?!?!?" I said as she pulled out a knife, pointing it in my direction.

Liv - Come any closer and Ashlyn gets it.

Ashlyn is still screaming while Liv is dangling her from the bedroom window.

Ashlyn - DADDY! *screams*

"Don't worry baby girl, daddy's gonna get you away from there, I promise..."

Meanwhile in the basement, Skye manages to free herself and begins fighting off Mateo. Austin agrees to help her, telling her how he didn't want to get involved at first, but would get paid a large amount of money and so much more if he did. Austin and Skye escape from the basement and head into the room where Liv and Skye are.

Leo's POV

Skye - OMG MY BABY!!!!! LIV PLEASE! DON'T HURT MY BABY. IF IT'S ANYONE YOU SHOULD KILL, IT SHOULD BE ME...KILL ME! JUST LET HER GO....

She quietly sobs, and slowly walks towards Liv. Liv pulls Ashlyn inside. Ashlyn still trembling and in total shock, runs to me and clutches to my leg very tightly...

"Skye, what are you doing?"

Skye - I'm sorry Leo...it's the only way I can save her.

"NO, Skye you can't leave me like this! What am I gonna do without you?!?"

Skye - Trust me, this is for the best....I love you, Leo...I always have. I could never be with another guy without having your face stuck in the back of my mind. I remember when we first met, when we had our first kiss, when we first made love, when we had our first child, when we got married...those memories of you will always stay near and dear to my heart. Even when I was lost, you were there to rescue me. I know we didnt have the best marriage or the best family but we made it work as best we could. I'm sorry we weren't able to reconcile and start over, together as a family, but I hope you make another lucky woman as happy as you have made me all these years. I love Michael, Ashlyn, but most of all, you. Please don't forget me...and make sure to take great care of my baby girl for me."

(*crying*)

My lips trembled with every word. I couldn't bear the sight of seeing her taken away from me forever. I had to do one last thing before she would no longer be a part of my life...

I walked over to her and tried to kiss her, but Liv pushed me back, while still keeping a tight grasp on the rope that she'd let go of soon.

Liv - Say goodbye Leo...

But I didn't want to...

And then Liv did it; she let go of the rope.
